Look at where the 2nd round safeties go. They go before 51, and several have not panned out. Some are still unknown. Teams are getting their safeties in the first round. In 2005, Nick Collins went to the Packers at 51
after two guys went ahead of him. Collins was from Bethune-Cookman, so he fell and ended up being the best.
Delmas, on the other hand, is rated # 1, and he is rated as a mid-second rounder by several draft experts. He should go in the range that some of these other safeties have gone if he's really good.
I'm just saying if he's there at 51, that should be a red flag based on past (recent) drafts. Delmas is rated #1, so he should be gone by the time the 40s end in round 2. If Delmas is allowed to fall to 51 and will be the first safety off the board at that point, you better think twice before you roll the dice. You better hope he's Nick Collins. Two guys went ahead of Collins. He wasn't the number one guy. My math tells me that's a 20% chance of success.
80%-20% odds in favor of a bust.

Dallas my be wise to trade down if an offensive linemen or NT or pass rusher isn't left on their board at 51.
Delmas may go before 51, because of the weak safety class. Kiper and Bunting say he's going around 51. In a weak safety class, he should be gone by 51, especially when he's the #1 guy. If he isn't gone by 51, buyer beware. There has to be some reasons. Recent history says he should be gone. We shall see.
