DeMarco Murray returned to practice today dressed in shoulder pads but wearing sweats instead of football pants, according to ESPN. This is certainly promising news for the Cowboys, they could have their main workhorse back for the Lions game. They should pick up some additional help at running back because Lance Dunbar is back practicing and absent a setback he should be ready to contribute on Sunday.
DeMarcus Ware wasn't dressed for practice, instead he continued rehab work with the trainers. The Cowboys have already said they will remain cautious with Ware despite his own statements about being close to ready.
Ronald Leary and Nick Hayden missed practice today but both are expected to play this weekend. DeVonte Holloman is still absent from practice after missing last week's game.
Also noted was that both Miles Austin and Dez Bryant dressed but neither participated in individual drills in the early portion of practice.
