From a ST standpoint he easily makes the team plus he catches most anything thrown at him and is the best blocking WR on the team . Roberson out of Wake Forest the UDFA is the extra receiver I look for in camp to make noise as a slot threat .

Brown really is a Swiss Army knife for the Cowboys offense & for an annual salary of just over a million dollars, that is quite the bargain. A bargain the Cowboys will hold onto at least for another season.

When a career special teamer spends FIVE years being a developmental, he has mastered the art of not only getting the NFL Pension, but also working the system. And the amazing thing is, he is almost unchallenged. I do not see any of the fringe WRs being able to play special teams at his level. He is just like C.J. Goodwin. We might as well carry five specialists on our final roster.

I don;t think you can make this catch without some talent:

That was the night he scored 4 tds:

We're looking for redzone production and they have him on special teams? What in the entire ______.

I can;t find the highlights I want...but here's one: Note at 3:00...I mean that is a solid move even at NCAA level.

The guy knows how to play ...especially at the goal line. PURE mismanagement by Dallas. As usual. They can't even manage Zeke's breathers...zeke has to tell them when. STUPID!

Needs reps and NFL confidence. Can;t get that in spotty half-baked playing time.

OSU alumni and fan here, when we drafted him I thought we got a steal. Then, to your point, they don't play him. Somebody asked the question - did they watch his tape??? Or rather, did kellen???? Guessing he has not.

And that is nice. I just have an issue with set roster spots. Sounds like he has nothing to worry about.

When you have the bottom of the roster comfortable, I have an issue.

Sure I might agree with you on that I see your point . Every kickoff every punt Goodwin is in on the tackle . All about field position .

With Brown sure after your top three receivers if an upgrade is there replace Brown what makes his spot tough to top is salary and versatile . Can’t overpay 4th receiver / ST players .

Brown should make the 53 easily. Who will push him? Fehoko and Vasher will need a heck of a TC to do so. Fehoko was pretty much inactive all of last year, and we yet to see Vasher.
But yet many fans, as usual, will over rate all the UDFA WR's. Especially if one shines in PS games against 3rd and 4th team players.
Who knows, maybe Brown passes Washington, or Fehoko and / or Vasher look great and replace Brown. This will be an interesting TC to see.

Garrett and Linehan, and even Moore has not utilized Brown as a WR as they should. But with talent ahead of him, that is understandable.
I don't get the hate or dislike that many have against Brown. Then again our pro bowl players get hated on as well.

Lamb, Gallup, Washington, Tolbert ar ether top 4, and Brown being #5. Which he will be #4 until Gallup returns. Fehoko and Vasher probably 5th and 6th until Gallup returns.
There are no other WR's on the roster that can push any of them, until we actually see them on the field.
Brandon Smith showed a few good signs last year in PS games though.

Then there is the flip side. Is there any player on the Cowboys you dont like?

I root for all the players.

Can there be upgrade, yes. Are there players I don't care for, I am sure I can find a few, but I KEEP my personal feelings out of it.
TEAM first.

I did not like Tyrone Crawford as a player, I think he was over rated and over paid. But I did not hate on the guy, nor post about it constantly like so many do now about some players. I did root for him to be good and did not gloat when he was bad.

LOL.........personal hate has nothing to do with it. You can hate the job the player does and want him gone.

Rooting for a player and not liking a player arent the same thing.

You seem to be confused a bit.

Well you seem to think I really hate Zeke personally. And you seem unclear on the difference between not like a player and rooting for him to do well.

I root for Zeke to do well, I just think he is hurting the team overall. I also think hes a selfish idiot. Doesnt mean I hate the guy. I dont even know him.

I drafted Zeke in my fantasy league last year so I rooted for him every week.

To be honest Noah Brown is about 45 out of 53 on my concern list on this roster. To be blunt for instance did Arkansas play into Ridgeway burning a valuable 5 and is he an answer at rotation DT or is he headed to wrestling night in Pine Bluff .
