We've talked a lot about how good of a game Dak Prescott had on Saturday night. It's been all over this site, and frankly all over the internet. From Dez Bryant, to Jason Garrett, to Tony Romo, people are singing the praises of the fourth-round rookie out of Mississippi State. In fact, some fans are wondering if their teams blew it in the draft. Our sister site, Revenge of the Birds, wonders if the Cardinals should have pulled the trigger on Dak to backup Carson Palmer, another aging quarterback.
After the performance of Drew Stanton and Matt Barkley on Friday night, the Arizona Cardinals fans find themselves asking this question, what happens if the unmentionable occurs with Carson Palmer?
While it is early, while there is one preseason game in the books, I had a couple dozen or so questions lobbed to me about this and one prospect in particular.
Did the Arizona Cardinals make a mistake in not drafting Dak Prescott in round four of the 2016 NFL Draft?
Indeed, it is a little early to be asking those questions, we need to at least see how Dak performs in his second game.

The conclusion was that one thing that lowered Dak's draft stock was his tendency to lose his fundamentals under duress. But since the Cowboys blocked so well for him, he showed that he had all the other traits you want in a franchise quarterback. But, they also concluded it was just one outing, let's get a bigger sample size before making any hard decisions on Prescott.
