Our writers weigh in with their picks for the Week 13 NFL action.
One look at the league standings and you'll see that not a single team has been eliminated from playoff contention yet, which is virtually unheard of this late in the season. The last time the NFL has gone this long without eliminating a single team from playoff contention was in 2006.
Some people call that parity. Others prefer the term mediocrity. It really comes down to your own philosophical preferences.
For the Cowboys, this mediocrity holds some good news. Despite their 3-8 record, a win in Washington on Monday, coupled with a Giants loss against the Jets on Sunday, could put them just one game back from the division lead.
But can the Cowboys win in Washington? In a league of parity/mediocrity, picking winners becomes somewhat of a lottery, but we try to do it anyway.
You'll find our picks for Week 13 below. Nine of the 16 games are unanimous picks, but with the way the league has been this year, that doesn't mean it's going to be a boring weekend. Far from it.
