Skip Bayless reminds me of the Fox sports radio station in Austin. They were saying that Romo was garbage and that he wasn't all that good. I listened to this for a good bit on the drive home then I finally realized what was going on...

The radio station and Skip Bayless bash the Cowboys for one reason. They know it is total crap, and they can't possibly believe it. However, it gets the fan base riled up. This is their lifeline.

The Fox Afternoon show is absolute garbage. That guy has been canned at every radio job he has been at, including the ESPN show in Austin.

Skip Bayless makes sure to get good use of his extra chromosome, don't be so surprised.. one thing I did agree with Golic on is that Tony Romo (although imo is a great QB already) doesn't have to do much compared to Favre who doesn't have s*** for a running game and an average at best receiving corps

A friend of mine claims to have met Daryl "Moose" Johnston at a Dallas restaurant, and asked him this very question.

According to Johnston (via my friend), Skip Bayless once propositioned Troy Aikman, and Aikman responded by slamming ol' Skippy against a locker and warning him harshly against further inquiry on the topic.

Of course, I cannot speak to the veracity of this story as I have absolutely no evidence other than my friend's word.

It's one thing to have an opinion, but another to be dead wrong about facts. What is crazy to me is he says he is too short???? He is listed at 6'2" exactly the same height as Favre and Delhome are listed at. It is one thing to have a wrong opinion, but another to just be wrong.

Skip does not think we are the better team. Does not think Romo is legit. Romo will end up on the hot seat later this year. There is a reason why Jerry has not extended Romo. Thinks TO, the Team Obliterator will send waves later this year.

Golic thinks we are the better team, but Green Bay with a better defense. Thinks Romo only has to manage the game due to the skill guys around him.

IMO, Romo is not Grossman or one of those guys who needs to manage the game. I am weary about our D to a level as is Skip. But our defense is getting better and more healthy as the weeks pass. Thats a positive.

I hope we prove Skip wrong.

We get Henry back, Newman get better, Ellis stronger....and adding a TANK......what does that spell?

Skip was the same way when he was on the morning show at the ticket in Dallas years ago. I think he was fired! His entire act, is exactly that. If you say the sky is blue, he will argue for an hour that it's brown.

I disagree with Golic that Romo isn't asked to win games. What has he been watching?

Bayless is a true hater who couldn't say anything completely positive about the Cowboys if he had to.

I think this is what it comes down to. He obviously doesn't like Dallas and is like a lot of sports fans who look for anything they can do make him opinions look correct. He was probably one of their top posters on the main ESPN chat board, so they hired him because so many people sent complaints about him.

I can understand why if it is the same guy that I am talking about. They just put this guy on. I'm not sure what time it starts, but I usually listen in around 5:00 pm.
