Thinks we end up with Mendenhall and Talib at 22 and 28...says they prefer to trade 28 for Roy Williams but "if not, they'll wait till later this summer to get a proven WR"

Says he thinks Jake Long with Miami gets done before Saturday...says Saints want to trade up for Dorsey...believes a couple teams will trade up into the late 1st for QB's

Also says Barber is insane for his contract demands

We could do worse than Mendenhall and Talib. If the Lions were smart they would trade Roy now so they can use the pick Saturday. I'm not optimistic but you never know.

I think the deal with Long gets done before Saturday also. The Saints might trade for Shockey and Doesey? Peyton wants to be a player. HA!

MBIII isn't insane. His agent Mr. Next Question might be.

I'd certainly be smiling at the end of the first round if it worked that way...

I don't see a snowball's chance in Hades of Mendenhall falling that far, though...and I doubt that Talib makes it to 28; 22 might be possible...

Although I would love it, BK's draft is a pipe dream. No way Mendenhall falls into the 20's, and there's not much of a chance that Talib falls to 28. We should be so lucky.

By the way, who is this burger king you speak of? Don't tell me they have men's meals now with draft guides as toys.

I think we'll definitely solve our WR problems by continuing to ignore it.

While I don't think that his 'mock' is realistic in the slightest, I would be forever happy with those two picks at those spots.

That would be amazing.

You've been following the draft long enough to realize that RBs historically drop. He probably won't drop but it wouldn't shock me if he did.

Talib's stock's been plummeting also. Mulitple failed drug tests have tendency to do that.

Well, you're right. We definitely have been ignoring it. And while none of us has a 'real' stake in this fight, as fans we have glorified ourselves by granting pseudo-GM positions.

It's good to be reminded of our instant gratification stance regarding the WR position over the years. My problem with the WR problem is that I consider our CB problem to be greater. If we could count on Pacman then what a risk it would be to go RB/WR with our two top picks.

Sounds like a Jerry move.

Scary thought.

The Cowboys would be fools to draft Kelly in the first round.

[theogt] What are you feelings on how the Malcolm Kelly situation played out over the last few weeks?

[Drew_Boylhart] What happened with Malcolm Kelly never changed my opinion of his ability from what I saw on film. When the ball's in the air, he wants it and will go for it and I want that kind of receiver on my team.

Me too drew, me too.

That's fine. Just not in the first round. Dwayne Jarrett went after the ball too. And he was, rightfully, drafted in the second round. Probably should have been drafted lower based on his laziness, according to published reports.
