Last time I checked, we haven't traded for PacMan.

and we may or may not do it...but if we do trade for him before Saturday or sometime before our 1st choice, its why I firmly believe we WONT take a CB with either 1st rd choice..might take one in the 2nd or 3rd, but not in the first

How about if he is the starter?

Exactly, how many people loved Julius Jones? I mean, he was the "starter" so we should have re-signed him and let Barber go, right? We use a split-back system, 1a and 1b. I can't stand the "I don't want to draft a 'backup' running back" talk. Who ever we draft will contribute right away. He may not be "starting", but I can see him taking the role that Barber played last year. And I think it would be hard-pressed for anyone to consider Barber just a backup running back.

A RB or a WR is going to see about the same playing time. A nickel corner might play a bit more than our second RB but not much more. The entire 'we dont need to spend a first on a backup <insert position>' argument is flawed. Every rookie but a handful are going to be backups. We are a supremely talented team.

22. Jonathan Stewart RB Oregon
28. Antoine Cason CB Arizona
61. Tyrell Johnson S Arkansas State
92. Red Bryant DT TAMU
122. Jerome Simpson WR Coastal Carolina
155. Peyton Hillis RB Arkansas

Hey, FL, thats not bad...not bad at all

I'm not a huge proponent of Cason in the 1st, but if we dont get Pac Villian this is pretty solid...I'd probably take Felix Jones over Stewart, but wouldnt complain if your scenario played out either

and I think the Simpson kid may surprise some people a yr or two down the road

While I don't think that his 'mock' is realistic in the slightest, I would be forever happy with those two picks at those spots.

That would be amazing.

I really don't know how you could improve on it. I think the RB will be gone as well as the top 3 CBs. I would be happy to have both of his picks. I like Cason at 28th because I think he will be the best CB on the board and I like Stewart at 22 because I think he will be the best RB available.

You don't think Dallas would take a CB in the 1st just in case Pacman got in trouble and banned?

nope...if they are that worried about it they wouldnt trade for him in the first place...its a concern, but not enough to panic over

I do think they'll take another CB, just not in the 1st

I just thought that TJ and Bryant would contribute quicker than any rookie WR we bring in so I pushed to the best value in the 4th and JS is easily that. He needs time to develop but we have that and he has the tools to succeed.

I could definately live with those 2 picks. If Mendenhall falls that far, jump on it! and Talib with 28? I only hope! WR in the 2nd rd. I'm all for that scenario.
