He's taking our offense in the wrong direction. He lacks basic creativity at the OC position and has now proven that he also lacks the critical skill of bringing his guys together onto one page. Any coach that says "him or me" can get the **** outta here as far as I am concerned. Coaches should be above that kind of triviality or they should be in some other line of work.

After 2 seasons, the first having our offense rated 3rd, this year rated 13th with major injuries including having the starting QB out for 3 games which if he had played we'd probably again be in the top 10, he's taking our offense in the wrong direction? Are you SURE about this??

Also, do you know 100% sure that Garrett said "him or me"? I haven't seen the video or heard recording of this. Who in the Cowboys organization confirmed this?

Trust me when I say some will not. Some hate him that much.

In all fairness, if you think some of the language directed toward Owens has been hateful, do you not see that the same can be said of some of the language directed toward Garrett?

I don't think any of it is hatred. I've seen hatred. I've had, at one time in my life, a pretty bloody and costly battle with hatred. I don't throw that word around lightly.

Your not answering the question. if he has receiver's open all the time he is allegedly trying to throw to TO, what is Garrett telling Romo on the side-lines while they sit and stare at the game-shots that show the developing play? If it were so apparent that receiver's are open, why doesn't Romo find all these open receiver's the very next series. after the Red-genius was looking so hard at the game film, analyzing?

I'm sure he does tell him. I'm sure the players tell him, and then its readily obvious when they watch the game films during the week.

The reason he doesnt is the reason we are arguing that dumping TO now would improve the team, because he's here and because he complains/demands the ball so much, Romo still forces him the ball. If he isnt here, he'll go to spreading it around more, which will make the offense harder to defense.

I don't know about everyone, but I'll surely praise him. That's what it's all about. It's professional football. It's about winning and losing. If Owens returns and the team wins, I'll be a happy fan. As I've said, I don't "hate" Owens. I think he's a problem. If I'm proven wrong, fine. If I'm proven wrong because the Cowboys win with him... better than fine. Outstanding.

My self esteem isn't attached to my opinion of Owens. I'd like to see the Cowboys wins another Super Bowl, with or without him.

Great attitude. You might need to touch a few others so it can rub off.

Just as you said about Owens, I feel the same about Garrett... But right now he is under my skin.

He didnt say that, and according to the reports posted last week Garrett specifically said he would never request that of Jones.

We did see reports that said Stevie was pushing dad to release Owens though.

That's it. Most of us might be annoyed. Most of us might not like the way a guy conducts himself. Most of us might not like the way a guy calls a game. But very few of us hate any of these cats. It's football. We want our team to win. There wouldn't be any need for a forum if all of us were in lock-step regarding how that would be most possible.

Yes we did.. and there was much discussion about it. "Where there's smoke there's fire". Right?

I mean that's the single most overused theme where it pertains to TO. The same applies here.

Ah OK... This problem he has been having the whole year of allegedly forcing the ball, he didn't attempt to rectify, though it was just very simple? So Romo just continually went out to play games, knowing other WRs were wide-open, coupled by the fact that Garrett was allegedly showing him these wide-open receiver's on the sidelines, with play-developing snap-shots, but willfully ignored it? Interesting... Do you know how ridiculous that sounds... Like I said, was Garrett afraid of the big-bad bully TO as well? Do you know how ridiculous it sounds, especially when you see how intently Garrett is trying to analyze the play-developing game shots on the side-lines after these TOs with Tony Romo?

I did and you basically finally said that you formed your owned biased opinion against Garrett. Isn't this exactly the type of attitude that TO haters have? not overly objective wouldn't you say?

I being someone who would release TO do not underestimate his loss on the field. It will hurt but objectively, I think for the longterm it would be better for the growth of the team in the future and that's why I feel that way. I likewise think Garrett could be good for the future of the organization but objectively he deserves time. More than 2 years one of them being an injury year at key positions including QB.

I doubt many that shovel hatred in TO's direction share your level headed line of thought. I've seen this going on since we brought him on board. The current onslaught of anti-TO threads is nothing new. It's the flavor of the offseason...

Oh. So you and I both have opposing opinions. Wonderfully anticlimactic...

Keep in mind that Owens was probably one of the two or three most disliked opponents in the history of the Cowboys franchise, given what happened with the star at Texas Stadium (an incident, I must admit, I thought was over-blown). Is it at all odd or hateful that a number of fans would recoil at the notion of his being brought on board?

Owens built a fan base, though, and many of the people who disliked him began to admire, at least, the skills he brought to the team.

Again, I don't think hatred is involved, and I don't think initial reactions to his signing are particularly relevant.

certainly not more than anything you post over and over again

So Tony Romo willfully ignored Garrett's 'tutorship' on the sidelines, when they were analyzing game-shots of all the 'open WRs' other than TO? Amazing logic...

I think it is and also believe it's rooted from day one. Some can change and some cannot. It's as simple as that. TO has changed. So once again my opinion differs from someone else. Oh where o where do we go from here.
