Burger King- Thinks Cowboys will cut TO

So when does the possibility that Romo lacks leadership qualities enter into the discussion? I'm just trying to make sense of it all.

Oh it's entirely possible. I think it's early to reach that conclusion. But it's entirely possible. Still, in Owens' case, you have his track record with Garcia and McNabb.

If that's the case, I'm glad that Choice doesn't read this forum. Otherwise, he might feel that you have devoted the vast majority of your posting attention to another player. Thankfully, he is a strong-minded individual who won't run off to find Deion Sanders in retaliation...

Just kidding. ;) :)

Hey. No problem here. The anti-TO talk is the flavor of the week. If anyone on this board was criticizing Choice I would be all over that as well.

Yeah yeah.. I know.. Choice and TO are on two polar opposites of the perceived spectrum. Regardless, I like both players and will support while they wear the star.

One could argue that Romo has created quite a post November track record for himself. No?

Assume for a moment that he does.

Are you going to keep bringing QBs in that TO won't quit routes on if the passes are not 100% accurate? Because he hasn't found one in his career to date.

Yep. On the other hand, one dropped pass in last year's Giants game might have changed everything. It's amazing, isn't it?

Your assertion that TO quits on routes is useless without links to video evidence. Just FYI... That's just for me. It's a worthless claim to me. I don't care who out there in the respected world of sports journalism said it. Give me video evidence or keep right on hating.

A few more completed passes, some safe throw aways, and a little extra ball protection in a number of games might have changed everything too. Yes. Truly amazing.

laufenberg has repeatedly.

he broke down that washington game where owens ran his mouth and showed all of owens flaws for everyone to see.

But i am sure you think laufenberg is a bad qb and doesnt have any idea what he is talking about.

Oh really? Link the video please. As I stated, the word of out someone's mouth is nothing compared to damning video of that which is claimed to be true. I don't want someone's opinion. We all have those. I want damning video of TO quitting on routes.

Bleu Star, I don't paint myself as enough of an expert to say with absolute certainty what happens on particular plays, but I believe Owens quit on routes. And while I can't give you chapter and verse, I know Aikman and others pointed to particular routes where such was the case. I also think Owens missed numerous adjustments.

Again, I'm not making declarative statements. But I'm not terribly ill informed.

LOL.

Before Al Gore invented links, how did we know anything existed?

Is video evidence used in court cases?

If TO is such a route quitter that has to be plenty of video evidence out there.

That is certainly true. The point is: Where a QB is concerned, there is a fine line between being a hero and being a villain. If Tyree hadn't made the catch of a lifetime, Eli Manning might be considered a late season loser.

wow your a real clown.

I record the score every week. Laufenberg hasnt been on air since the end of the season, when he returns hopefully next week, I hope the owens topic comes up and he does some more.

He broke down that mess of a Commanders game and many more, during a pregame show during the season, unfortunately i didnt record it.

he was very outspoken two weeks ago about owens being the number 1 priority and seeing that he is tight with the garrets and this organization it is pretty obvious what owens is behind closed doors. archer and jjt were on the show and the look on archers face pretty much told the story.

As soon as he gets into it again and breaks down coaches film I will put it up, unfortunately I didnt record that great breakdown back when he did it.

i do have plenty of audio of him during games explaining the mistakes owens makes and when i get a chance i will go through some of it and put it up.

So if a pot called a kettle black should the kettle feel bad? Hrmm

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh. So you have lots of audio speculation. Do you mean to tell me in the ago of video cameras everywhere there isn't any video evidence of TO quitting on routes? Surely there has to be something.

that sentence makes no sense. Only a handful of people get coaches film. laufenberg being one.

and yes I record the radio broadcast to every game. When owens plays well laufenberg points it out, when owens plays poorly laufenberg points it out.

You really dont make much sense. Like I said, laufenberg used coaches film to break down what owens doesnt do well and where he is struggling.

and guess what just like a quarterback, when opposing teams find a weakness they exploit it. laufenberg did a terrific job of showing all of his flaws.

off the top of my head I remember sitting in the stands and laufenberg talking about how owens wasnt getting open because of the press coverage in the cincy game and how the only way owens could make a play was if they backed off of him at the line, the one time they did romo hit owens on the crossing route for a TD and zimmer was screaming on the sideline like someone made a mistake!!!

so yea, as soon as he gets into it again, as I imagine he will i will record it and put it up.

Please do so. I look forward to seeing it. With the ridiculous claims being tossed about you would have thought it would have been up long ago. Interesting.

I bet there's plenty of video to exploit Romo's flaws too. Whatcha think? Can you dig some of that up too?

who would have put it up? pretty much i am the only one that records the local stuff, I wish someone would have recorded that.

Again, you really dont make much sense at all.

Well, as long as you keep replying then I am making enough sense for your level of comprehension.

Make sure you find some Romo video too. Thanks.
