They obviously have a guy that they love in the draft. Burnett has also hit his ceiling. He's nothing more than a nickel LB and they know that..they want a quality starter for coming years.

he had no choice IMO he would be too embarrassed to come back after not signing with the 3 or 4 teams he visited.

No way, Joe... maybe a 4th for Canty, although it may not be any pick, with us signing Olshansky to replace him... but if the dollars I'm hearing for Burnett are right, then the most he could net us would be a 6th rounder, maybe a 7th...

He was solid on a good day. At not time during his days in Dallas was he a "Pretty good playmaker".
