Burnett - torn ACL on IR.

The Rams will probably spread the field all day with 3 and 4 receiver sets, so we'll likely play a lot of 4-2-5 anyway.

I highly doubt we will be doing anything different then we planned on doing before Burnett went down.

So every one of our LB's is going to play every single Defensive down that we are not in the nickel? We only really have 4 - And what happens if ANY of them go down?

Why are you acting like that wasn't already the case? Burnett was only getting 5-8 snaps a game, and that enhanced workload is only a recent development. Now, the 5-8 snaps a game that were going to Burnett will go to Ogbogu or Quintin Caver.

This guy is rapidly approaching turd status. He didn't even get hurt in a real game.

Sorry but that doesnt make much sense. If he was practicing like he would in a game and gets hurt you would look down on him?

Yep, we're going to completely change our entire defensive system that we've been playing all year for the very last game because a guy who was seeing 5-8 snaps a game on defense got hurt.

It really is that simple.

And crazier - injury to backup happens on Friday. That would give Parcells 1 day to install a new defense on what is usually a walk through day. It would be mad to even think of a change now. Utter madnes.

Ogbogu is more than capable of stepping in as a backup and Shanle has played outside and inside and Fowler is playing at a decent level. We change NOTHING.

That sucks to hear, but at least ACLs aren't career enders like they used to be. It took me six months to get back after I tore mine, and some folks can come back even earlier.

I hope this isn't going to become a recurring theme for KB's career.

KB's injuries are becoming disturbing....

Odell Thurman was twice the backer last draft but it happens....

ACLs don't take as long as most think.

I would know, I tore mine in football early September, and I will be released to play baseball at the beginning of February, so it doesn't take to long.

I know its just high school but still, I'm sure he has better doctors and physical therapists (not dissing my doctor or PTs) then I have recieved and it will make recovery time that much quicker.

He should be fine by the start of training camp.

Best of luck to him, the injury is not much fun.
