Buying a car thread

If anyone has any questions ,,, fire away. I've thought about making a business out of consulting people how to buy cars. I haven't figured it out yet though ... but I'd never charge a fellow member from the zone so you guys don't have to worry.

Last car I "bought" was easy. My mother decided she needed a newer more reliable car so I talked her into a 2005 Accord Hybrid. I searched the country for the best deal on a new one, called the local dealerships in DFW to see how they fared against the best deal and to see who had the color she wanted. They beat the best deal by 1k and did a site unseen on her trade in. All she had to do was walk in and write the check. I think she paid low end of 29k out the door
