I don't know if this has been mentioned but Chan Gailey, not Martz is supposedly the front runner for their coordinator job.
I had not heard that, but had heard Martz. I actually think Gailey is a better fit for Alex Smith as far as development.

Might be our next offensive coordinator, lol.

Norm just said he believes he will be if Garret leaves. He is well respected here and has worked with wade.

Their owners and GM shot down the idea of hiring Martz, Cameron would be a good fit out there...
Yeah I just read that.

PFT just posted something about the Martz to San Fran was nothing but agent-speak.

Maybe a certain retired OC to be lured out of retirement to pair with Sparano?

:cunning:

I know you are probably expecting everyone to know this certain retired oc,but for those who suffer brain crapulations, please expound on who it is.

SF Chronicle has Gailey, Martz, and ......Brian Freaking Billick as the targets for OC.

Well you know Billick is an "offensive genius." :laugh2:

Jason Cole just did an interview down here and said Sparano will be the next coach of the fish. So any other interviews given will be nothing more than a courtesy call.

Good, let's get it over with and go for Solari or Houck.

This is great, I've gone from liking Parcells to hating him in a matter of days.

I agree.

There are two good, veteran offensive line coaches sitting out there.

I hope Sparano doesn't get made an offer until after our season ends.

Othewise, in the back of his mind he'll be thinking about joining Miami if an offer is made in the next few days.

We need full concentration on winning the Super Bowl.

Parcells has great timing these type of things.

well this is what most of us thought would happen. he would take ireland and sporano.

I am curious how much he is willing to take from here. he took everything from new england when he went to the jets, the whole staff and their best player curtis martin.

I would imagine other guys in the mix for that staff will be bowles, pasqualoni, anderson, henning, carthon, haley, chris palmer. I am curious who sporano hires as a special teams coach.
