Anyone can be financially independent if you stay out of debt, live well below your means and save.

It may take time and discipline, but anyone can do it.
There's no "living below your means" if you make below the federally accepted national minimum wage of $15 because about half the states still have $7.25 minimum wage or something lousy like that. Even if you live in a tenement. Not everybody has the option of living with their parents or a rich family member or gets to mooch off their spouse / romance partner. You shouldn't be forced to live in a car or in a tent or under a bridge.

I have a very good idea... If I recall correctly the passer rating of opposing QBs when targeting him was somewhere in the 30's and the completion percentages were not much higher. Interceptions for corners are a lot like sacks for DEs. It's ONE way to measure their effectiveness.. but far from the ONLY way. Thing is, because he seldom made them pay with INTs teams kept trying Byron.. and generally had little or no success. The fact that he dropped more interceptions than any Cowboy since Orlando Scandrick notwithstanding.. Byron was a very good corner his last two seasons in Dallas. No he did not deserve to be the highest paid yadda yadda yadda.. but that's not reason to diminish how good he was.
Bruh his QB rating when targeted was in the 90's how u jus gonna make up stats lol

The Kelvin Joseph and Nashon Wright picks are huge setbacks to have to go right back into pure NFL draft mode to have to get it right again.

In " hindsight" CB Asante Samuels as a 2nd round pick instead of KJ j and Wright would've been ideal and helpful but prototype fit was the call I'm hearing there.
That’s what they like and target. They are highly unlikely going to take an undersized corner who lacks elite length at the position

My mistake .. his passer rating when targeted his last two seasons in Dallas were 84.7 and 87.7. Not as good as I remember but still damn good. Completion percentage were 52.5 and 53.1. Most impressive was that he gave up less than 1000 yards combined in those two years. In those same years 2018 and 2019 Jalen Ramsey gave up 856 and 549 and completion percentages of 54.6 and 67.8!. Yikes. He did have 4 INTs to one for Byron. Did the 4 INTs make up for giving up almost 500 yards more? I'm gonna have to say no. Point is.. Jones was very very good his last two seasons in Dallas. I don't know where the numbers I had in my head came from.. maybe some graphic I saw on TV during a game for a certain situation. In any case.. I was off on my numbers.. but not in my assessment.

Not surprising that BJ gave a heads up to avoid the injections and the pills. The NFL is far more concerned about today's performance than how it might affect an athlete's future. I'm sure there are many athtletes who feel the same way but don't have the guts to speak up on the subject.

A guy that is thinking about retiring from football is already gone, IMO. The passion and drive are probably no longer kindling that fire to compete and be the best. The Cowboys don't need to devolve back into a team with guys just collecting a check. That mindset is contagious and can create a culture that's difficult to reverse.

cancer... lou Gehrig's ALS... huntington's... hitting a deer on the interstate. Earthquake, tornado, meteorite. Being at the wrong place wrong time in a drive by shooting... etc...

Never take tomorrow for granted. Live for today.

He wasnt that good the rest of our secondary was just so bad they never had to look his way. Plus he was mostly on the #2 guy most of the time.

Yes. Or a rolled coverage of corner and safety. Remember we played a lot of zone tampa 2 with bumanelli. But byron did not follow #1's.
