Danny McCray in his normal coverage.

Question: Have any of the receivers stood out to you?

Answer: Byron Jones: Well, Terrance Williams ... he always finds a way to break me off at the top of the route. I'm trying for my life to stay one him, but for some reason, he finds his way open. But I'm working my technique. I'm trying to get more physical.

Wait until he sees what Bryant does!!!!! He may want to almost quit playing when he gets abused by him!!!!!

Taking what the defense gave us worked out pretty well for Romo last year I'd say.

We also weren't aggressive in the passing game (cost us in the playoffs = both games, not just GB) We squeeked out of the DET win bc we weren't aggressive on offense. We seem to wait for Dez to save the day when he could have put teams away in the first half. We also abandoned the deep ball in 2014.

Adam didn't need my help "schooling" you and Galian.

That was like LeBron (Adam) playing 2 on 1 against Wee Man (Frozen) and Peter Dinklage (Galian) .

Nah you avoided it like the plaque because it does not fit your arguments.

See me? I go in any Williams thread, why? I don't have an agenda.

You couldn't defend Williams against himself, so you duck and run. You have no issues following me thread to thread, defending Williams, but the 1 time Williams, doesn't even defend himself, you duck for cover, and wait to come out of hiding when a positive Williams article comes out.

I think it's good all around. I would expect a Rookie CB, in his first camp, to have problems with some of the things he sees. It's excellent that this kid has the intellect to understand what he's seeing and the work ethic to understand what he needs to improve on.

As for TWill, very encouraging. I have always felt like he is weak in the area of running good crisp routes. Sounds like that part of his game might be improving. I like all of this.

Jones is not only just a rookie, he's a rookie that is considered a bit raw technique-wise.

Wait till he has to see Dez in real speed and in pads.
Lol

He might deal with more physicality and better jumping ability from Dez but Williams is quicker and gets better separation. Derek Dooley mentioned last week that Williams gets best separation of any WR on team.

He can get open all he wants in Practice, as he has in past years, but this is where it counts, IN GAMES. What type of hand placement is that?

Jones: "Twill gets to his break and 'poof' he disappears. Next thing I know he reappears at the opposite hash mark. This guy is impossible to cover."

He is entering year 3 he was tied for 7th in TD catches. I know you don't like him but he is not nearly as bad as you love to claim. There are a lot bigger names who had few TD grabs than Williams

One thing I noticed on the various clips available on Jones is that he doesn't play well in space. If he isn't grabbing, he doesn't have a feel for where he's at. Hopefully, the coaching staff can fix this, as I see it as a big problem.

From listening to the rookies commenting about their veteran counterparts, I'm sensing the chemistry on this team is unusually positive. Everyone is chipping in to help the newcomers develop as fast and as well as humanly possible. Not every team does this to the extent that we're hearing about here. It's impressive.

T-Will seems to be progressing in his ability to get separation with each passing year. It could bode well for 2015. With Jones being a rookie, it'll get easier once he gets more adapted to the speed in the pros. It'll take time but he'll get more and more comfortable with added experience. It's something that every rookie CB experiences. I think he'll be fine. I believe there's a reason why he 's drawing raves from his teammates.

I hear you.

But you and I both know TD's don't tell the whole story, or stats.

I bet those other bigger names probably didn't put up the TD totals but their impact on the game was probably felt a little more, and overall production was better.(Yards, Catches, Making plays up and the field setting up your other guys to score, commanding double teams/attention your way, ect ect)

This is a fair point. Most WRs don't have a Dez on the other side or a Witten working the middle of the field to provide more single coverage. That's fair.
