Hell be 34, has never played a full 16 games and has had 3 major knee surgeries. Hes been to like 1 pro bowl and that was after being named an injury replacement. I doubt hes one of the top 30 defensive players in the league...much less top 6? At this point I'm not even sure hes one of the top 6 defensive players on the Cowboys!

Ok pro bowl twice, injury replacement both times, I'll give you that. All pro once in 2016. Not exactly indicative of top 30 much less 6. Maybe top 10 lbs if you don't count 34 rush backers!

Byron's been our best Corner so far.
This physical press coverage approach suits him much better.
He's been tested deep 4-5 times and stays step for step with his man.

I have no idea how Eberflus and Marinelli dismissed Byron as a corner for 2 years when Richard saw it from literally before his first training camp.

They had the dream of him as an impact over the top FS. We wouldn't have drafted him that high as a corner.

People keep talking up Awuzie, as they should, but Byron has been better. Almost all of Odell catches was when Awuzie was covering and he gave up that tough catch to the other receiver. I like both of them and they are both really good but so far Byron is our best corner
