True. But that's the game the NFL likes to play. They figure, for all those that flop, there will be more that outplay their rookie contract. I'm guessing the numbers favor the owners.Obviously I don’t think this will happen, but in the event he flops that is an absurd total amount of guaranteed money for someone who hasn’t played a down in the NFL.
I could see it if you’re a contender. But when you’re building, you don’t waste that kind of precious draft capital on RB.this what happens when you go BPA above all else
a RB usually is only great for maybe five years
Those like Emmitt and Walter Payton and Derick Henry are outliers
when you are building your team a top pick on RB is one of the last things you do
I know he’s good, just seems like a lot of money for a rookie ya feel mesure that’s the risk with any player. my issue was moreso with “i don’t care how good he is”
