Caleb Downs

I’m not going mad or doing anything. All I said was you can win with mediocre guards and if rather have a good safety than a good guard. Not sure how that’s a issue.
Yes and I said you can win with mediocre safeties. Then you went to Seattle using a 1-year sample as if it means anything.

Ok man you got it lol. You're extra sensitive when someone doesn't agree with you as if there's only one answer lol. Its cool you got it.

I have literally said that you can win with mediocre guards or safeties and that it doesn't have to be one or the other. How is that saying there is only one answer? I'm not sensitive, you just have a poor position that you can't defend.

But there is one answer, because the numbers are the numbers lol. Guards make more than safeties. It is very, very simple.

By your own logic, Love is the 6th-best safety in football and he signed for approximately what the 18th-best guard makes by AAV.

So first paragraph you say how are you saying there's only one answer and first sentence in your next paragraph is "but there is one answer" lol. Unbelievable lol.

So your stance is because guards make more than safeties that means they are more important.....nevermind what the Cowboys have shown you...they've had hall of fame guards and medicore safeties and its bit them in the *** for nearly 20 years....

Guards get paid more than running backs too does that mean they are more important?

The point is that my argument isn't that there is one answer, but the money shows that there is one.

Safety play has never been a significant problem until last year.

Guards are significantly more important than running backs, yes.

I think Cowboys top 2 realistic targets are Downs and Bailey. Styles is 3rd. I think they would entertain trading up for any of these, but I don't want to overpay. If Bailey gets to 4 I think they try and trade up, likewise Downs at 6. Styles would need to fall to 8-10 range. Reese I think is going to the Jets so not in play.

Not sure if it’s prospect fatigue or ignorance but some of the comments on this forum and NFL twitter in general about Caleb Downs are hilarious. This is the best player in the draft and there’s a chance he falls to 12! He has instincts that you simply can’t coach. Eric Weddle 2.0

He would transform the D day 1. People underestimate what a game breaking safety can do for a team.
He's also Josh Downs cousin, which I find interesting.

I know the position isn’t regal. But this is the best player in the draft. It hasn’t wavered until the medical.

I feel he will drop and then you see a trade up. Green dot for the secondary.

Calling Cleveland.
