He will probably be rejuvenated by having a much better QB.
Been a while, im sure he's gonna have to get use to having accurate passes come at'em again

I LOL'd!
I read that relationship was Rocky from the start. That's why he was buried on the benchPayton buried Adrian Peterson on the bench.
I wonder what he does here.
I'll bet he has a huge game here in a few weeks.
5 for 58 1 TD
only costed a top 5 pick![]()
Cooper and Gallup are both better right now and yes, Dez looks fat.

Amari Cooper > Sammy Watkins
Sammy Watkins + Top 10 pick >>>>>>>> Amari Cooper

It's hard to go through Dez highlights and ever find a time where he got much separation.
Easy, during his time here the Cowboys forced him the ball in Red Zone situations since they are almost allergic to running the ball in the RZ.How did he catch all those tds?
Different era's for sure, same as the QB throwing to Dez the majority of his time in Dallas. Just looking at Romo's attempts vrs other Dallas QB's stands to reason he'd have more yardage. (649) attempts one year,Easy, during his time here the Cowboys forced him the ball in Red Zone situations since they are almost allergic to running the ball in the RZ.
"But Dez was just that good", you may say.
Well, why are the Cowboys still so pass heavy in the RZ this year without Dez being on the roster and having a Top-3 RB in the NFL?
Elliot has only 18 RZ rushing attempts this season, while Dak has 50 passing attempts in the RZ this year, and again, with no Dez or a "go up and get the ball receiver".
Then lets also compare Dez to a couple of Cowboys WR legends.
Bob Hayes was able to get 71 TDs (to Dez's 73) despite having 166 less receptions. He was so good, NFL teams had to invent new Defensive Schemes to try and contain him.
Michael Irvin was able to pull in 750 catches on 960 targets. Dez, on the other hand, was tarted 909 times as a Cowboy, but only caught 531 of them.
Yet Michael averaged just 6.03 targets per game, where Dez averaged 8.04 targets per game. Just imagine the TD numbers Irvin could have put up if Emmitt did not hog the vast majority of RZ opportunities.
And in both Hayes and Irvin, they put up that production in eras where someone could knock the crap out of them because there were no penalties for "Hitting a Defenseless Receiver".
I'm not trying to say Dez was terrible, but I will say that he was way too overhyped by the fans and media for what he actually brought to the field.
Don't expect most to agree, but that's my opinion.

Could have cleaned house with a top 5 pick.If we end up sucking that bad and it cost us a top 5 pick? Thats gonna suck, but at least it will clean house.
Dez sucked, "he didn't catch every pass throw his way. High, low or in his hands"
