I see it being between Adoree and Watt most likely. I think they have a preference for pass rushers I think they go Watt and draft Tankersley in the 2nd.

I could see Jackson at 28 with McKinley at 60 as well. Takk could be a big faller if he may start on PUP

Same here...I have Watt and Adoree as their 2 guys. Bowser is the wild card....

Thing about Bowser, I just watched some of his highlights against Vanderbilt and I wasn't impressed. He was consistently blocked out of the play. Either that or he was always out of position. He seems to play hard, but seemed to have minimal effect on the game.

His production is a red flag, given his measurable.................its a risk drafting him, I agree.

I feel we are targeting Adoree Jackson. Not because he is my number 1 prospect at 28 but because it seems like a rational idea that the Cowboys are thinking and will do.

Hear me out...

+ We are paper thin at defensive back. All the special defensive ends that can be our "demarcus ware" will be gone and all that will be left are 2nd round tier defensive ends ala Demarcus Lawrence. This is where we stay put and draft best DE in the second.

+ Jackson because he is a triple threat player. Defense and Offense ++Special Teams. He starts day 1. We have 3 Cornerbacks that are worth mentioning. Carroll, Brown, and Scandrick. Even without injury, we need depth at that spot.

+ Dunbar was here and held his spot for only god knows what reason and why so long but I think we are looking at someone dynamic to fill that role (part-time).

+ Just to prove we are looking at a Dunbar type, we brought in Curtis Samuel. However, Samuel would be too rich for our team in the first 3 rounds.

+ Adoree is the lucky we need.

The dude is a zone corner, and not even that great of a zone corner...............Broaddus doesn't even have him in his top 50

I just hate the idea of drafting a mediocre zone corner at 28, but I guess it is what it is........at least he can return kicks, that's something.

Not 'feelin' the love for Barnett because he seems like Anthony Spencer all over again.

I absolutely hate, hate, hate that we can seemingly disqualify good players because they don't "fit" our scheme. It would be one thing if that scheme was tried and true and won a lot of football games. But that is not the case. It just comes across as stubborn and shiftless. It is not the same as taking talent, figuring out what they do best and then capitalizing on it. We look for prototypes and look for the right size peg to fit the hole. Sometimes the problem might be the hole to begin with.

The best drafting teams in the league really fit--NE, PIT, SEA, BAL.

I think the pick is Adoree. Would give us a KR/PR and a receiving option in four wide sets. Will pave the way to Whitehead being cut and a roster spot opening that can be used at another position.
