I know we are upset with what happened today. That said, let's take a moment to calm down.

1stly, it's only our 2nd loss this season. Stop acting like we're 4-4. We're 6-2 and still in control with the division.

2nd. The Bucs carry 2 losses and are on a bye, the Packers trail thirteen nil and KC has the ball, and the Cards are up, but we play them later this season. As such, no harm appears to be done with the standings with this loss.

3rd. The loss was to an AFC team. No tiebreakers are impacted. Again, no harm done.

4th. The Broncos are a good team. They had a couple unlucky losses this season, but the team shouldn't be shunned as a lowly team.

5th. All great teams go through a bad match or two. What matters is how they respond. Let's see what we do next week.

As such, let's settle down. No time to panic.

Great post and i agree.

Exactly, I know. Any time the team loses, the season is dead with some. However, it's a marathon, not a sprint. The best this club has done in any season is 13-3. Did anyone expect to be 6-2 at this point in the season? I don't think so. And you know what else? We are actually upset about a loss. Last year, it was expected. This year, it's a disappointment. That shows that this team is improving. Let's see how they respond.

I agree

6-2 and losses happen....

only good thing from today is it only counts as one loss

i dont get the press the panic button reactions....ill press it if we are 6-7

Exactly, I might start lurching that way in case we don't respond next week, but this isn't the week to panic.

Agreed. I've been known to overreact when the Cowboys play like this. Let's give them a chance. This team still seems different to me. Let's find out

Exactly, and some during the match pointed out that the team got blown apart by the Eagles in 92 (the year I was born). At least this lesson came against the Broncos and not the Eagles! My goodness!

Oh shut up already!!!

This is a discussion forum. This is what we are supposed to do.

The negative nancies piss me off more than the loss!

Only thing worse than a loss is some clueless homer swinging by telling everyone to shut up. Which is what you pretty much do weekly now.

According to you, everyone on a discussion forum cant talk? LOL

You are good for what exactly? Waving your pom poms and telling everyone else to shut up?

To be fair the Eagles were a very good team, with a hall of fame pass rusher playing in his prime and a lot of other pro bowl players. But it's not so bad that this team isn't the 92 Cowboys. No one is.

Next week is key.
Will this young team learn and not think they will win by just showing up???
