My bet he's going to the Raiders, rumors here that a package deal with Johnson and Commanders assistant general manager Lance Newmark is in the works.I called crazy .....
Seriously........It's still unlikely but if you are Ben, the Cowboy's job is way better than the Bears, Raiders, Jets and Saints IMO
I think Glenn could actually have 3 offers from what I'm hearing/reading ( Jets, Saints and now maybe the Cowboys ) He's def at the top of the Jets and Saints lists.Aaron Glenn would be a great hire
There's still plenty of time..........there's a nugget that reminded readers that 6 of the 8 vacancies last year were filled between Jan 22 and Feb 8 or 9thWatched Watkins say the words, but it lacked the clarity/certainty that would support the conclusion that this is really expected to happen. It sounds more like he's been told "it could happen."
And.
Of course.
It could.
But as the mantra goes, sorta... "Your words tell me yes, yes... but your actions tell me no, no."
They've rapidly put together interviews with Kellen and 2 candidates of color this weekend.
Why do that if you're anticipating stringing this thing out to the Super Bowl anyways?
Actions say they're not.
As they should ..........it would be silly for them not to interview two of the top candidates.if true, the team is FINALLY doing due diligence in a coaching search.
The cowboys job is objectively the worst job in football. Even worse than the Jets. There's ZERO chance Johnson touches this team. He'll have better options. Glenn ....he might be desperate enough.I called crazy .....
