Because it would say Dallas Cowboys next to it.Why would interviewing for a head coaching job in the NFL not look good on your resume as a coach?

Based on the going rate? No.They could interview for leverage. Is Jerry going to pay more than another team?
Gotta build up your trenches. Both sides of the ball. Everything will follow suit afterwards.Solid defense and a running game should do the trick. In other words, he can get you to post-season, that's proven but from there, you wanna take the ball out of his hands a bit.
Seems like ot me they are better with AJ then trading him especially with Hurts.AJ was one of Vrabel's favorite players as the Titan's coach. He was 100% against the trade to the Eagles. AJ only has one year of guaranteed money left on his contract. He's been a bit of an enigma......so I can def see Howie pulling something off.
he's my #1.Aaron Glenn would be a great hire
Depends on who he sees as his OCHe’s a defensive coach.
doesnt fix our offense.
..... Yep, I think the Jerry overhead thing is overhype. Any coach would love being HC for Dallas.I called crazy .....
Seriously........It's still unlikely but if you are Ben, the Cowboy's job is way better than the Bears, Raiders, Jets and Saints IMO
He’s expensive and could probably be had for New England’s 3rd and 4th draft picks this year. But, Tee Higgins could be signed for what Brown is paid and they give up nothing.I mean its early to say if he's THE RIGHT guy. But even then he's not enough. They need far more than him and I don't understand why the Eagles would trade AJ....unless they think he's a cancer.
“Any coach”? In that case, they’ll get the available guy they want the most...... Yep, I think the Jerry overhead thing is overhype. Any coach would love being HC for Dallas.
In writing. But how did we request an interview with Kellen Moore if his teams season hasn't ended lol
There are rules. It’s virtual and can only be 3 hours. The rules for the bye week trans asst were during their bye week but we were screwing aroundBut how did we request an interview with Kellen Moore if his teams season hasn't ended lol
You request, sit and wait. There are rules. It’s virtual and can only be 3 hours. The rules for the bye week trans asst were during their bye week but we were screwing around
Something like that yeah. The Cowboys job is the ONLY one in the NFL where the HC is undermined, neutered, and humiliated on a DAILY basis by the owner. That doesn't happen anywhere else. That alone makes it the worst job in the league, which is why the only HC's that come here are desperate burnouts or unqualified new newbies. Then add in the next HC will have the Dak anchor, recent blown drafts, etc. It's not even close.
Lol comparing Goff to Duk is like comparing apples to oranges. Goff has always had an arm, he has grown each and every year. Duk has never had to through trial of actually putting a lesser team on his shoulders and playing above expectations. Essentially Duk sucksIF Jerruh is serious, then money will not be an object and if you throw enough money at Johnson he takes it. Granted we don't have the RBs we have and his TE is better than ours, but Lamb is better than any WR they have and Goff is a statue like Dak so who knows, he made them good, maybe he can with us too.
Then again, maybe he will be Fangio/Monte Kiffin/Jim Johnson and only be a good coordinator.
Agreed. This is a job of last resort taken by people who have no other options.Something like that yeah.
Anyone who wants it has simply decided to take the guaranteed pay day when it’s right in front of them.
I really don’t why anyone with options would sign up for Jerry. There’s better opportunities, and not as if he pays better.
He should coach the team himself. There’s no one better than him.
The worst part….whoever is hired will not be about who is most qualified, but about whoever will work cheap….and a huge “win the SB bonus” for a team that doesn’t use free agency to improve.Agreed. This is a job of last resort taken by people who have no other options.
