if you watch Boston sports stations, they think that Kraft is now at Jones' levelsYoung QB already playing at or near Dak's level and better ownership

never anywhere else,,,From my other post: the Cowboys job is the ONLY one in the NFL where the HC is undermined, neutered, and humiliated on a DAILY basis by the owner. That doesn't happen anywhere else. That alone makes it the worst job in the league, which is why the only HC's that come here are desperate burnouts or unqualified new newbies. Then add in the next HC will have the Dak anchor, recent blown drafts, etc. It's not even close.
They have a young franchise QB, more money to spend in free agency than any other team and the #4 pick in the draft. Add to that a non meddling owner and it is definitely a better job right now.how is the Patriots' job better than the Cowboys' job?
I don't see that at all......if you watch Boston sports stations, they think that Kraft is now at Jones' levels
why would any candidate with options choose Cowboys over any of those other teams? Bears have a good young QB with potential. Raiders, Jets and Saints aren't anchored by a bad QB on the worst contract in football for years. Cowboys job is by far the worst available. Stuck with Dak and Jerry is a nonstarter for any candidate with options.I called crazy .....
Seriously........It's still unlikely but if you are Ben, the Cowboy's job is way better than the Bears, Raiders, Jets and Saints IMO
he was forced to hire Mayo as apparently it was in the contract he had to succeed Hoodie. What would the reaction be if Jones put that in a coach's contract?I don't see that at all......
For example .......he made a mistake in hiring Mayo. He not only owned up to it but had to pay Mayo 3-4 years not working for him. Tell me what happens to Mayo if that was Jerry?
Agreed things are looking up in Pat's land. They have a young franchise QB, more money to spend in free agency than any other team and the #4 pick in the draft. Add to that a non meddling owner and it is definitely a better job right now.
I live in New England and this is beyond complete horse ****if you watch Boston sports stations, they think that Kraft is now at Jones' levels
Save you time....you aren't going to convince me Jerry Jones is a better owner than Kraft. Let's move onhe was forced to hire Mayo as apparently it was in the contract he had to succeed Hoodie. What would the reaction be if Jones put that in a coach's contract?
Why do they have to wait until the Lions season is over?
Everyone else gets interviewed during the playoffs. What makes the Lions different?
This is your opinion and that's fine, others have a different opinion......respect the differencesThe cowboys job is objectively the worst job in football. Even worse than the Jets. There's ZERO chance Johnson touches this team. He'll have better options. Glenn ....he might be desperate enough.
There's nothing wrong with interviewing these two guys.cowboy fan we always look to retreads, noone new and fresh
also cowboy fan, why are we interviewing them just because they are popular
if they are interviewed by others, is it not buzzworthy for those orgs too? There's nothing wrong with interviewing these two guys.
But this is buzzworthy gesturing, which is what this ownership subsists on nowadays.
only thing he is better at than Jones at this point is going to rub and tugsI live in New England and this is beyond complete horse ****
The problem is - they did not interview them (remotely or in person) last week, when they could heve/should have. .now that window is closed until the Lions are out of contention. Which could be until after the Super Bowl. There's nothing wrong with interviewing these two guys.
