Arch will be in college til he graduates. Which means two more years. 2027 Draft more likely. NO QB is a sure thing. But I’d take a chance on him more than anyone else.

Wrong and weird on multiple levels.

First, someone call 1850 and tell them one of their pimps is here in the year 2025.

Second, is Arch tank worthy? I mean, he could be, but what’s the sample size. He got the pedigree and is talented but is he a lock?

Third, and I hate to disappoint a lot of folks, but if this team is healthy next year, they will win ball games even if Schotty is a bad as some hope he is, so you won’t be in the position to draft Arch anyway. Of course that’s assuming he’s the Superman everyone wants him to be.

....Fourth, we've got two wins already in the bag vrs Giants.....that may well take us out of contention for Arch.

Fifth, Jerry would need to get Dak to really suk, which is difficult to do as if Cam's right, we draft Manning and presumably Dak gets cut post-June and loses out on $140m.

he is not going after nick saban. he just signed a coach. and there is "coaches dead money" you know, so no Saban.

Anyone who thinks Arch will be ready and enter the 2026 draft is an idiot. As much as I want that to happen, it is still 2-3 years away from fruition. I am currently watching the Special Forces tv show in which he is on and doesn’t seem very bright.

W/ the pay Arch will be getting from UT, it'd actually be shocking if he doesn't max out his college eligibility.

Cam had one good season and parlayed that into the fans thinking he was good. He was not.

First of Arch has already said he’s staying 2 years and is making top NIL money. Secondly we just committed to a fairly strong staff so unless they totally bomb this season Jerry isn’t making changes. Thirdly it’s so difficult to get the #1 pick unless Ben Dinucci is back at QB. If we keep Rush he’s more than capable of winning 3-4 games if Dak goes down even on a bad team.

this is the dumbest narrative I've ever heard, and I can tell you why they haven't been paying attention Jerry wants to win regular season games at all costs, he needs to keep fans watching, therefore if you've watched some of the losing seasons we've had where they were supposed to tank or at least according to fans should tank but tanking is not a real word not for players and coaches and owners not really it's not a thing that's a narrative created by mostly fans in hopes to get a better draft pick,

but 2020 what did they do at the end of the year I think they went three in one in McCarthy's first year injury riddled year it was a terrible year but mostly we saw why and they bounced back for three years and here we are again and another one of those injury riddled years and what did they do they won like four games down the stretch they tried really hard to win even with a bunch of practice squad players that is the reason we know that Jerry is never going to tank he's never going to purposely have a plan to be bad regardless if the plan ends up bad that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard..

And I'm not listening to this nonsense, so I'm not watching the video, I don't need to...

I can just tell you this most teams don't tank it's not a real thing and why in the world would you think that just because they hired Brian schottenheimer and some of us are at least cautiously optimistic that this coaching staff might be better than the old one and yet people are saying this is the sign that they think Jerry is purposely paying a bunch of new coaches money to lose so they can get manning manning may play two years how do we know that Manning's going to be a one and done in the college ranks he may come back for another year you can't plan on trying to get a coach and a player that might not be available to tank for...

But again why would you give all these coaches the new staff four year deals Jerry's not going to eat those deals after one year to get a potential bust in Nick Saban and then not have manning available to draft and yeah I say potential bus because he's already done it once along with Urban Meyer and Bobby petrino and Chip Kelly just to name a few I mean what exactly is going on here if he wanted Nick Saban he could have went after him this year I don't know what nick Saban's doing right now but I believe he's available wasn't he?

Jerry will not pay Schotty to sit home.

I anticipate Dallas will be more active in FA than normal. Jerry understands fans and media are questioning his decisions so faltering now could lead to disruption of revenue flow.

Fan revolt is on the table so stability is required and splash signings could be a possibility.

Unless the Giants get an actual QB. That team, as was WASH, is poised to be a playoff contender. Unfortunately for them there are no QB prospects this draft that are even as highly rated as the 5th best QB prospect from last draft. However, if they can find one that pans out, no more easy wins against them.

I doubt Jerry is thinking about tanking and is 100% sold on Schott as a great coach. If the Cowboys tank, it's totally unintentional and just due to bad decisions.

Is the question whether or not Jerry is tanking in 2025? Because I would answer yes to that question too. I don't know that it is so he can sign Arch Manning. That seems far-fetched. But everything Jerry has done so far in 2025 smells like another down season. Hiring Schottenheimer has got to be the biggest sign of a down year that I could imagine.

I think Jerry and Stephen really believe they are CAP strapped. I think they really believe that they can win it all with 4 or 5 high paid players and a bunch of cast offs. While I do not believe they are tanking on purpose, I do believe they are expecting another year of losing.

I think we will have our answer by the end of the free agency period.
