Like Detroit tried to do? Not saying this is some marvelous accomplishment considering their defense isnt exactly stellar,
You have a real flair for understatement, my man... the Lions' pass defense is in fact HELPLESS...
Example-- Donny McFlabb torched that defense for 381 yards and 56 points, completing 21 of 26 (an even higher completion percentage than Jason put up), and 4 TDs... that works out to a quarterback rating of 158.3...
But in all of his other games this season combined, McNabb has the following stats line:
58 completions, 110 attempts, 562 yards... 1 TD, 1 int... 66.6 quarterback rating, 52.7 per cent completions... 187.3 yards per game passing...
Think about that, he's averaged 187 yards a game in every game but the Lions game, where he threw for 381... he's thrown ONE TD pass in those other three games, had 4 against the Lions... he completed 80.8 per cent of his passes against the Lions, 52.7 per cent against all of his other opponents...
You starting to get the picture about how profoundly pathetic the Lions' pass defense is?? Even mediocre quarterbacks put up big numbers against them...
It seems lately Campbell is seeing all of his recievers as opposed to locking onto one guy,
I dunno, man, 4 receivers have caught nearly 3/4 of his completions (73.13%, 49 of 67)... his top 6 have combined to catch over 90 per cent of his passes... I'd suggest if Moss was fully healthy, that distribution would be even more top-heavy...
I believe with this continuity he will be able to continue to improve seeing all his recievers like he did against Detroit and make those passes that you say he isn't able to make.
Fortunately for you Skins fans, he won't face a good (or even decent, really) pass defense but once in the next 5 games, 3 weeks from now when you guys go up to Foxboro to play the Pats (6th ranked pass defense in the league)... the Pack ranks 23rd, the Cards rank 18th, the Jets rank 25th and the Iggles rank 21st... in fact, you guys only play 4 more games against teams currently ranked in the top 12 in pass defense-- the Cowboys twice, the Bucs and the Pats...
Then again, y'all have only played one team inside the top 20 in pass defense so far, the 3rd ranked Dolphins, and Campbell put up a 51.7 quarterback rating against them... your other 3 opponents have ranked 21st, 20th and 29th...
I'm really looking forward to seeing what Romo does to that Lions pass defense on December 9th...
