Can 9 year veteran Dak Prescott lead today's Dallas Cowboys to a Super Bowl?

Deflect much

I would argue that he built a winner in 2016and then went "All Jerry" on us and started the imp
And what was the result?

I know you were born in 2016 but there was football for decades before that. Given you ashamed shown lack not knowledge the cowboys have sucked since 1995. Yes that is the 1900s for the newly born like yourself

That comes across as a VERY Jerry opinion.....slim chance, but Dak keeps us relevant as opposed to Roseman's goal to win it all and good isnt good enough.

What, in Dak's career, has indicated he has the mental psyche to lead a team through the play-offs? Recent history indicates that as soon as he meets adversity....IN A LOSE AND GOT HOME scenario, he personally freezes and/or isnt able to step up.....
......the two weeks that highlights this is the (2022) Play-off:
  • Buccs win with his 143 Rating.....with a HoF performance....one week later
  • SF with a 63 Rating and whilst the RunD gave up 105 yards....DAK HAD 3 4th Q drives, but FAILED TO ORCHESTRATE A TD.
Its not a hatred of Dak, he just isnt able to step up when he's needed.....he cant have an armchair ride (especially with that Cap Hit).
I want change. But we don't have roseman. We have Jerry. Chances are he will make all the wrong decisions

I didn't say don't go to the alternative. But change for the sake of change is stupid specially if you become worse and more importantly continue to get worse.

It's ok to make a change and be bad for a short period and get better after that. So let's look at alternatives. Have a plan. If it's not working then move on to the next. But if you make a change and things are worse and stick to it for far too long then you defeated the purpose of the change.

I don't trust Jerry. I think this is the best Cowboys can be under Jerry. We are not going to win championships with Jerry even if we had mahomes.

I know you are stuck on Dak and only Dak. I tend not to be emotionally focused, looking for a singular point of failure in the players on the team. Otherwise, you think you replace the problem only to fail again.

Like I said. Replace Dak with John Doe. Some people will support John Doe. Some will be criticizing him incessantly. It happened with Romo. It's happening with Dak. It will happen with John Doe...guaranteed

Well yes, but the difference is that they arent hamstrung by a QB that 'needs' a lead, or at best one score deficit.

Again, Dak with a lead is such a different QB, than Dak having to play out of his comfort zone (and unfortunately that's an integral aspect of The Blueprint). I cant see us (with our CAP spending on Offense) building a Defense strong enough to continually keeping the opposition to 10 pts or less.
Again they have mahomes. Do we have one? No.
Neither do 30 other teams. It's obvious your only solution to Cowboys problem is having a generational QB. So how do you find a generational QB. They don't fall off the QB tree. There is no 1-800-NEEDQB number to call. There have been two generational QBs in the past 30 years in NFL.

Btw not sure what happened to Dak. As mid career he was one of the better QBs with come from behind wins. Second only to Rodgers at the time. But since the arse whooping against Denver when they beat us at our own stadium we haven't been the same tea..

180 degrees off.....I think we build the Lines and draft in a QB into an armchair scenario, a bit like Dak with that O-Line and Zeke (and what Hurts had). So many of those 'generational' QB's and early draft picks fail, as they dont have the roster during their rookie deals.
