i think he'll be a good one but lets not compare him to the leagues best right now. two different roles as well seeing we play the 3-4 and they play the 4-3

Bobby's not 6'4 and he didnt run a high 4.4 at the combine like Urlacher did.

He only had one solid game, which was in Seattle. The jury is still out on him IMHO.

Umm actually he was pretty good in the last two games of the season as well and leading up to that hed pulled his head out of his backside with ST and ws making plays there as well.

The guy makes plays which is more I could say of most of our defense last year. He made more plays in those 3 games than Spears did the whole year.

I wouldn't have a problem with Realcowboyfan if he would phrase his questions in a way that weren't so 12-year-oldish...

For example take the question that started this thread. Instead of making a somewhat ridiculous comparison why not start a thread like this--

"What kind of career is Bobby Carpenter going to have?"

Number one you don't start off making a comparison that isn't cartoonic in nature.

Secondly it's not something that you can answer "yes" or "no" to so you'll get better answers.

That's how it should be done to avoid ridicule and to generate better answers within the thread. And better answers will make it a better thread.

If Carpenter can give us the same things Mike Vrabel gives the Patriots every week then i'll be happy.

Carpenter is big, fast, and comes from a football background. I dont see any reason to not have success.

I didn't even notice that. I was actually thinking earlier today what I was going to do the next time I reached a milestone in my post count. Now I have to wait through 1000 more babblings before I can carry out my plan.

Bobby Carpenter has excellent coverage ability and he's an awsome blitzer and he could wrap up. I believe with Wade Phillips alot of players that suppose to live up to the hype like Canty, Spears, RW, Bobby Carpenter, and more will live up to the hype, why?, because they will be put in position to make plays.
