so let me get this right......you dont think b. Carp can do as well as Urlacher in the theatre that is the combine? is that right?
ooooh i didn't know they gave out lombardi trophies for running a 4.4 in the combine, my bad.
6'4"? you like tall guys? who cares boo hoo hoo he's 6'2" shall we cry together?
to answer the original question. i think carp can be just as good and even better(hopefuly not as overrated) than urlacher.
You have no idea what you are talking about...
They play different styles. Urlacher relies on his speed and his defensive tackles in front of him to make plays. Carpenter doesnt come close to Urlacher in the speed department.
Urlacher is one of the best ,if not
The best when it comes to flowing to the ball. He's not the best at shedding blocks but thats not his game. He gets to the line of scrimmage quicker than a lineman can block him.
Carpenter and Urlacher at this point have nothing in common other than being first rounders and being white. You have a perrienial All-Pro compared to a guy who had two good games (Seattle and Atlanta). I think he has potential and could be solid , but to compare the two is silly.
And its apparent that you are disgruntled and being 5'9. I was pointing out body types. Carpenter is thick in legs and upper body. Urlacher is two inches taller and probably weighs less, (around 250) but does so to keep his speed.
It has nothing to do with how tall you are, but how your strengths as a player mesh with your physical attributes.
