Can Campo get anything out of Roy?

Although Woody was by his side, Roy did have his best seasons as a Cowboy under Campo and Zimmer. Maybe a familiar face will be something that can inspire Roy, who knows. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, but I still think Roy has something to offer this team, maybe Dave "Puppet" Campo can be the solution.

nope, roy sucks, he is the worst in the league, he got paid and doesn't even care about anything but his money and his house.

I actually read somewhere is is planning on making a house entirely out of dollar bills, HE IS THE DEBBIL!

Well technically Roy's best year ever was when Dave Campo was the head coach.

Dang it hurt to type that.

Roy's weaknesses and limitations juet get a lot more focus than his strengths.

He was adding something to the team last year, despite popular perpecption. Granted, it wasn't quite as much as he's done before. But still, he's wasn't awful.

I do think Roy has been better, and I hope that he can be again. And yes, it's possible that Campo can help him again. I really think Roy's biggest problem right now has to do with his confidence. Seeing a familiar place and getting some familiar coaching that he is more comfortable with might help.

It's possible that Son-of-Bum just really thinks Campo is a good coach. I'm sure at this point, he knows everyone in the league, or knows someone who knows all the people he doesn't know. Presumptuous to assume that Phillips would have nothing to do with this selection, if it comes down to it.

Maybe they're just trying to resurrect Roy.

It's like I think about threads before they begin. I must be getting wise in my old age.

i got 2 reasons why roy is not the same guy he was in 2002: darren woodson and the good 'ol horse collar tackle are both out.

Anthony Henry also worked with Campo in Cleveland in 2003 and 2004.

Damn.. never thought of that... good point...

I think a good secondary coach could probably continue with Wade's commitment to come up with new and inventive packages to keep Roy off the field, while still allowing him to retain the label of "starter" to save face.

So the new crutch for roy to fall back on until september will be Dave campo is going to fix him.

To this I say, who in the hell would rehire campo in this organization and how could he possibly fix what is wrong with roy williams. You cant teach heart and determination.

Something tells me we will be missing Todd Bowles, and maybe we are already.

Thats the thing. Hes very average.

We dont pay him average, we didnt pick him at a average position for a Safety, and his expectations were "the greatest safety ever to come out of College".

Im a fan of his too but he just aint cuttin it.

Why the love for Bowles? He couldn't teach Reeves to cover, he couldn't help Roy, he can't teach our guys to look for the ball. Why is it other teams, like the Giants, can lose starting CBs and other guys step in and perform great, but we can't coach anyone up?

He can get a big fat butt to keep the bench warm or somebody that can serve up water. But i can see Roy screwing that up...going in to hand Hamlin a cup of water and taking a wrong angle and spilling it on Ware instead. Yup
