His plays suck but he’s great at play falling. He knows when to call runs and passes.

Moore gets too cute way too often. Just run the ball

In saying that, I seriously doubt Jerry would allow Boy Genius to be demoted

It just needs to be spun the right way.

Kellen, we like you. You're awesome. Because your play-calling is trash, we're promoting you to director of janitorial personnel effective immediately.

Speaking of MM I learned today Brian Schottenheimer is on this staff ? Say this about DQ MM JJ this is a solid group of assistants assembled in the room . For each one of these veteran coaches and of course the players would love to see them get a ring .

McCarthy is the HEAD football coach.
Has over a quarter century of calling offensive plays and a SB on his resume.

IF he is scared to tell Jerry that he could do a better job calling plays than Kellen, than he does not need to be the Head Football Coach of the Cowboys.

He knew exactly what he signed up for when he inherited Kellen in accepting the job in the first place.
No one put a gun to his head to be this walk around fraud collecting retirement portfolio checks.

If he don't think Moore is cuttin' it, elbow him the hell outta the way and take charge.

Like a real head coach.

McCarthy said he can't because he doesn't know the verbiage for the play book.

I can't believe people actually believe this. He's a SB winning offensive HC. He coached, Joe Montana, Brett Favre and Aaron Rogers. You think he couldn't figure out and learn KM's gimmick offense? You can bet he is involved in the weekly game planning and knows the offense. He said that probably to shut the mediots up so that they don't keep asking him that question.

this is what an ex-cowboy player said in dec 2019:

"I've lived this. ... They hired Jason Garrett as the OC before hiring the head coach, Wade Phillips. The players didn't know who to listen to — Jason Garrett, Wade Phillips or Jerry Jones. That's the problem with the 2019 Dallas Cowboys." — @ChrisCanty99

and now …

“If this season doesn’t end the way Jerry thinks it should, don’t be surprised if Kellen Moore is their next head coach much sooner than later,” one source told CBS Sports. “He does not want to lose him.” cbs sports jan 2022

which is weird…

big MM wouldn’t even know what they are talking about on the game day comms.

Literally an absolute waste as a Head Coach.
I mean it's year 3, does he still not even know the playbook/ terminology?

I remember the offseason claim of Fix the Penalties and secondly, Him more involved in the offense.

And here we are.
AGAIN.
