Can our Defense finally contain McNabb?

Not saying that you know exactly what you're talking about, or whetrher your comment is based on wishful thinking, but ...a few critical yards producing a 1st down can be just as equivalent as a long scramble from the pocket producing significant gain.

Interesting take from our posters and the Talon.

I do think the lesser receivers the Eagles will force McNabb to run a bit more.
But the injury from last year will create a long term problem for him.
Cutting back on how effective he is.
Even with the new poundage gained on the Eagle O line.
The good thing for the Cowboys is that we will get to see him in week 5.
So by that time we will know what problems the Eagles are facing and create a defensive plan to stop them.

In the past, he really hasn't run on us all day. He has used his mobility to make crucial plays when needed. His ability to avoid the rush and find somebody down field for the first or pick up the critical first on his own. His ability to get the ball off just before the sack. Those kinds of things have been a staple for the Eagles against us. As I said before, if the Eagles can run the ball, I expect McNabb to be effective against us once again. If they can not, I expect us to dominate them.

I don't think so. I think the Giants have consistantly shown they can run against us and they are only going to get better as Manning matures. There defense, on paper is better this year then last. I think we will have to out score this team if we want to win. I don't think we can shut them down offensively.
