Can Romo beat out Drew?

Excellent point, We don't know how durable Romo is. But the little bit he has played, he's taken a few shots and bounced right back.

I've missed those.

maybe I should have asked a diff question, like can barber beat out jones.... or Fasano beat out Witten.... J/k

It is simply amazing how QC manages to show up in just about every QB thread posted. I tell you I'm dumb founded. I simply do not understand the fascination. As far fetched as this thread started out to be, "Can Romo beat out Drew?", it got even more tilted with this post about Carter and I honestly didn't think that was possible.

It is simply amazing to me.

I was and still am praying that was some form of twisted satire.

Yep, he has played 2 plays in an NFL game. He managed to be ready the next time they called his number, Hoorayyyyy!

I believe if the Cowboys are really trying to get a superbowl ring, they would look at the option to add Quincy Carter to the team, I feel that he was a player that win ball games, he just needs someone like Calvin Hill working with him and conseling his off-the-field issues, I believe that relationship will work again, even though I strongly doubt this, but I hope that the Cowboys bring Quincy Carter back for Quarterback competition, he should be a Quarterback that we groom real well along with the other quarterbacks. Quincy Carter has a high level of upside and potential.
Well, I thought that getting away from the FWST Discussion Posts, i wouldn't be reading posts like this anymore. I guess there are people that have never seen a good QB, ever, on all boards. Who'd a thunk it?

Well, I thought that getting away from the FWST Discussion Posts, that all of the utterly stupid posts would be a thing of the past, then I read this. Sheesh.
Carter fans are like watching the Night of the living Dead, they just keep coming. :lmao:

You will never manage to escape the crowd that believes Quincy is the reason the Cowboys made the playoffs in Parcells first year. They don't care about fact. They don't care about reason. They seem to get worse as time goes on and Quincy fails again and again.

If hes not worth the hassle for a CFL team no team in the NFL would consider touching him. You can't tie your season to a QB you can't trust.

Now wouldn't it be ironic if history repeated itself for Bledsoe and he goes done leaving the job wide open for Romo to take, ala what happen to him in NE.

I could see something like that happening. I really don't think he has any chance of doing it in preseason though.

But i would much rather Bledsoe make it through this season, i would like to see him go out on top, not happen what happen to him in NE. If it did he would officially turn into that QB with the most dumb-luck ever! Of course we'd have the next "Brady" though, too.

Gentleman,,,, no way Romo beats out Bledsoe. My biggest concern with Romo right now is the amount of INTs he is throwing in TC, it was a concern last preseason too. Quick DBs react well to just about any ball Romo throws over 20 yards.

Parcells is going to expose Romo for what he is, a career backup. Parcells also knows that Henson can run this offense with minimal mistakes,,, something he needs to see from Romo. I personally believe Romo will get torn up and picked apart by 1st string NFL defenses,,, I could be wrong but I don't think so.

Just curious where you got this tidbit of information from.

Is there an article or PC you can direct me to?

All info about the Cowboys does not have to pass through the media and some sources can't be named for obvious reasons. Trust me, all is not as it seems.
