Can someone tell me what Alfred Morris has done to be our starting HB?

But at what cost? If Zeke is fumbling and running into a pile over and over you gotta let Morris get at least half the touches.

Zeke -like Gurley thus year - is seeing tons of loaded boxes because teams aren't afraid of the QB. You might pick out a few times that he missed holes but that's something every back does. He's running into piles because he's smart enough not to try to improvise and potentially lose a ton of yards

For a guy that fumbled every 162 touches in college, 2 fumbles in a game is an anomaly until proven otherwise

At what cost is limiting his snaps? Zeke is smart and learns fast. You don't learn at RB unless you get reps so you can study what you did right and what you did wrong.

most likely, if we are going to be realistic. What scared me was 2 fumbles in a division game when its not needed. I can see one, but Garrett has to remember these are division games and our opponents always step up to play us. in that case, use Morris more.

Nonsense... Zeke didn't win the starting job he was given the job because of his draft status. I'm a huge zeke fan btw. But you gotta keep both backs active not just keep pounding the rookie when he's clearly not there confidence wise.

Exactly, and he hasnt looked very good.
Morris just looks better overall.
I think you need to play them both, and just give Morris more time, like a whole quarter.
Elliot I was told did not fumble, but today he had two, so whats next ?
So far EE is a bust, not saying we should bench him or he wont get better , but doesnt look like he is gonna get the 2000 he was talking about lol.

They could rotate them , give EE one possesion then morris one and so forth, and then over course of few games if one stands out, then maybe
make him the main guy .

never mind, if you cant see it, im not pulling out the charts. teh deal is, Zeke is getting carries because hes the 4th round pick. you take that away and hes sitting. We still have McFadden coming back. For some reason we still have Dunbar.

Apparently their plan was to enthusiastically support starting a rookie until he has some adversity in the league then lead the campaign to bench him.
