the odds ain't good and the injury list is creepy - but the Boys are now in the top 10 to win it all

1 NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
2 LOS ANGELES RAMS

3 KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
4 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
5 PITTSBURGH STEELERS
6 CHICAGO BEARS
7 LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
8 HOUSTON TEXANS
9 MINNESOTA VIKINGS
10 DALLAS COWBOYS

here's 5 things that help

- the Boys have a serious defense, the first 1 in 20+ years
- the OL seems fine with next man up, that's major
- whatever else can be said of Dak, he's a baller, toughness matters
- coaching, laugh if you will - this team plays hard and fast
- talented youth, a touch of confidence and momentum could seal the deal

coaching will be the difference - as bad as some have talked about the offensive staff ...
in half a season they (seem) synced their passing game with 8 new targets
and did with an injured OL - so far so good

on D this is the full season for Jones, Awuzie, Woods, and Vander Esch as starters
and they are one of the most dominant units in the NFL

IMO, they more aggressive the game plans the better
No way. Will not happen. Everyone is giddy over close wins over three flawed teams and prior they were talking top 5 pick and now they are talking running rhe table. We will go 2-3

There aren't many good teams. The league is pretty top heavy. The Saints might be the very best. We'll see how we fare against them next week. I'm still not convinced we're a very good team, but if we can hang with the Saints I think we can pull some out against teams like the Bears and Vikings.
the NFL sucks.... actually, it doesnt suck, it is that most teams are about the same..... exactly what the salary cap is designed to do. You have basically the Saints, Rams and Chiefs t the very top. Throw in a steelers and Pats in the next tier.... and than everybody else is basically hit or miss from week to week. This is how the Eagles go from crap, to winning the SB and back to crap in a year span. Hell, even in 2014 and 16 our own cowboys could have very easily finished 8-8 in each of those seasons.

y gut says worst case scenario 3-3 to finish 9-7 , most likely 4-2 and finish 10-6 and win division..

That means nothing IMO.

Being 10th in a horse race ain't no prize.

Hope the Cowboys see this and get angry.

We get no respect I tell ya..

They can, though it's not likely and it's not the Saints game that concerns me.

Depends on whether or not we beat the Saints, which is the biggest thing to prevent the Cowboys from going 11-5. Then I would see it as possible. But, could see the team still finishing 10-6 if they can't beat the Saints.

Still think we only lose one more game (Saints) but it will be closer then people think and we get a reality check in the playoffs. This team needs to do more then barely beat a few lousy teams in possibly the weakest division in the league to convince me they are true contenders.

Running the table seems unlikely, but I think we can finish with a winning record down the stretch. 4-1 or 3-2 is probably about as good as it gets though, but how they play against the Saints will go a long way in showing how they'd do in the playoffs IMO.

Personally, I'm looking forward to a rematch with Seattle or Carolina. This time in Dallas.

One only asks this if we beat the Saints.

If we beat the Saints i'll feel a lot better about our chances..
Suddenly the Colts is looking like a dangerous game.

but hey..to be the best you have to beat the best.

We may not see the Cowboys lose again for a very long time if we get past the Saints. And even if we do lose to the Saints, we can still make the playoffs by winning out.
