His board is going to turn on the team again big time Thursday night, isn’t it?

It depends on how the game goes. If we win or keep it close then the board will be favorable and encouraging. If the Saints win 47 to 10 then most people here will still want a coaching change. Saints win 31 to 24 and everyone here will still be excited by our chances.

The fate of the team lies with 2 people.

Scott has to use the whole field, not abandon the run, stay out of the between the tackles run/pass game. Above all, don't be predictable. In other words, I should not be able to guess the play at least 75% of the time.

The 2nd person is Garrett, he has 2 can Scott if he refuses to stick with change.


If these 2 clowns do their jobs we can hang with NO and then win out. If they don't, we lose 2 and miss the playoffs, they're gone.

Can we..? Doubtful. Will we..? Absolutely not.

Even if we beat the Saints, which I'm VERY skeptical is possible, we'll lose another game that we should win. I figure we go 3-2 to finish us at 9-7 which may just win our division, & set us up for hosting a 1st round game.

This team and this coaching staff is an enigma and hard to predict

As soon as you bury them they respond and then once you buy back in they falter

This team is capable of beating the saints then losing 4 straight so at this point I don’t know.

I know they will compete and if Linehan keeps his head out of his *** we have a shot

I’d like better pocket presence from Dak better coverage from LBs and Heath

I know the players love Garrett based on what I hear so we will see

I can realistically see us going 4-1 or 3-2 for the remainder, with Saints and maybe Colts being the losses.

But then, our defense is for real AND still improving, and if the offense — both players and coaches — can keep the positive momentum going, a run-out is well within the realm of possibility.

Big game this Thursday...might as well win it.

I will say that if we run the table or win the division, Garrett has earned his extension as much as I hate it under the condition that he replace his OC.
