Can there be change under parcells?

If he didn't realize it was broken.....then he must be senile. ;)

100 percent blame?
you see what you wanna, parcells knew what zimmer was he trusted him and he got screwed. Thats just as much on parcells as on zimmer. Watch the defense next year, if I am wrong cool, I will admit it but if I am right will you admit it wasn't all on bill?

by the way i've gone thru many msg boards since parcells has been in dallas. and too many psters have said the same thing. if im wrong ill admit it. 4 yrs later they're still crying the same tune. next yr next yr. theres been 4 next yrs already. you like they i doubt will admit anything but rather come up with another excuse for parcells.

So it has come down to this in regards to BP. It is either Zimmers fault or Jones fault. Teflon coach, I see.

Let me guess who gets the credit for the good things Dallas has done the last few years?

If Dallas goes to the Super Bowl and wins it all next year, is it because of the new defensive coordinator and Jerry Jones?

I have never seen more excuses made for a coach than BP.

Campo had no GM authority. Minus some #1 picks (I believe...Galloway trade). Cap trouble. Plus obviously if the defensive or offensive coordinators stink the coach bares no responsiblity at all. So what you are saying is you were a big Campo fan? None of that crap was his fault.

been a ground up rebuild from 2002 you want perfection I want progress and a promise of potential. Parcells has given this team hope where there was none. He deserves far more respect than you guys give him. Cowher took 15 friggin years to win an SB and yet so many pray he is the next coach. Parcells made us better, he is a better coach than we have had and I will not throw him under the bus just cause we didn't win the super bowl this season. Keep on expecting a perfect team and you will keep on being sad about it, we are a real and respectable team now, one that I am proud to be a fan of, we hadn't been that since jimmy left. You don't think parcells is the reason then you are blind to the truth.

why from 2002? parcells didnt get to dallas until 2003. and in 2003 they were a young fast team. in 2004 parcells took this team 5 steps back. u hd leaders like glover, ellis, da, roy and woodson. what happened in 2004? was that a rebuilding yr? or a yr that parcells could use an excuse toswitch to a 3-4? in 2005 jerry jones was asked if he had any regrets. he said " i regret letting coach talk me into not opening my checkbook in 2004". if u want u can archive it at dc.com. under the jason ferguson, river, henry signing article

Cowher was in the Super Bowl season four. Would have won a Super Bowl had not ran into Larry Brown and one of the greatest dynastys ever assembled.

I will remind everyone that wants to forget that the NFC is very weak and we have only won 9 games two years in a row. That is not impressive.

Again, it is hard to have a debate when all the failures are because of Zimmer and Jones and BP gets a pass.

What if Campo had been a career 8-8 kind of coach. Would we still be happy with BP? To me, being better than Campo is not what it is all about. If that makes you happy that is your right.

We all have the same agenda, just a disagreement as to how to go about it.

are they winning and are they respected? if u think they are then theres a problem

by the way anybody with a real opinion on the threads original post want to share theirs? instead of having to settle for the parcells debate.

actually i;d like to debate something different as in the changes.

Yeah, ok. First of all I have been reading Zim is a idiot the last seven years...not the last two.

BP would rather play a 40 year old QB than let a young gun get some experience, but he is perfectly ok letting a dude with no 3-4 experience do OJT and be in complete control of the defense? Yeah, ok. You buy that, but you are an easy sell I guess.
This is obviously not true.

Oh it was my imagination that Romo and Henson played and Vinny was on the bench.

Especially when the season was all but lost.

He had the best QB playing the game. The experience wouldn't have been squat to Henson and Romo wasn't ready. He benched his life-long boyfriend this year for a young undrafted QB. If that didn't dispel this meme, I don't know what else could.
