4 T/O and their starting QB were out along with 2 of their def starters injured in the 1st Q of the game and we barely beat them.
If we meet Philly or the Niners in the playoffs we will once again be embarrassed on the national stage.:(
It is what it is......
How do you equate losing to San Fran or Philly on their homefields in the playoffs as embarassed? Those 2 are more than likely the 2 best teams in football. EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL probably loses at those venues. Its not embarrassing to lose but more prideful to go out there and battle them on a big stage. Is Philly embarrassed that they lost to Dallas Saturday ?

We barely beat them without their starting QB who is the current MVP of the league so no, is this even a question?
They barely beat us with Cooper Rush tossing 3 INTs at the Linc in October. So yeah, it's a question.

Our defense was a lot better in Week 6 then it is now, nobody is debating that. I don't think Anthony Brown or Vander Each are coming back so it probably won't get much better either especially with Micah getting more gassed each week as well.

That might. Lane Johnson is a helluva RT.

But their DL basically shut down our run game which could be crucial when playing them outdoors in Jan.
The Eagles could very well be one and done.

After 27 years it's EMBARRASSING esp after last week's win and we are now SB contenders again.
After 7 seasons Dak is God having a very rare shining moment against a team who really had nothing to play for, and a backup QB who served 3 T/O.
Keep serving that Kool-Aid Jerry the folks just love it!!!!!

P.S.Now here come the I'm not a Cowboys fan yada yada yada yada.....

As excited as we are all about that win yesterday, that game was largely irrelevant because we arent going to win the division and Philly will clinch everything with a win against the Saints next week.

Hurts didnt play and the defense still gave up 27 points and was getting torched through the air. Unfortunately, we dont have any reinforcements coming to help our passing defense.

The solace we can take from that game was they came into that game mostly healthy on defense, and they couldnt do a thing to stop our own passing attack.

If we are going to get to where we want to go, we have to be able to beat this team, and most likely it will be in the Divisional Round. After what you saw on that football field, do you honestly believe we can beat that team in Philly with Jalen Hurts back or will this win be the highlight of our season?
I think when Hurts comes back he won't be 100%
I remember Rodgers having the same injury to his throwing shoulder and he was terrible when he came back. As long as Dak plays well they have a chance. It's the 49ers everyone should be concerned about. That kid Purdy is better than Jimmy G and it's not even close.

The cowboys do not have the luxury of looking that far ahead. It's not a given they will beat anyone in the wildcard round. McCarthy and company better get these guys ready and rested so they can be at their best.
