Can this team win a potential round 3 against Philly?

Of course we can. But this defence needs to play better…they need to start getting Parsons, Lawrence and Armstrong fresh for the playoffs.

Sure, why not.
The Cowboys since 2012 are 7-4 vs Philly at both the Linc or the Death Star.
We're matched up well with the eagles since 2012.
Also, the Cowboys are 3-1 vs Philly in the postseason. Of course our last victory vs Philly in the playoffs was the 2009 season when the Cowboys swept all 3 games that season and beat them in back to back games.

Round 3 = 3rd time playing them
Oh, OK, lol- my mistake. Yes, both teams full-strength. No backup QBs. I agree about Tampa, if they lose to Panthers this week I think they'd be tied for first. Facing Brady in the playoffs still makes me nervous, even with the lousy year they've had.

It's likely that what is standing between this team and the NFCCG is @ Tampa Bay and @ Philadelphia.

Add @ San Francisco for a Super Bowl berth.

I'd be astounded if they did it.
Ya me too but I’ll continue to root for it. I can see a w over Tampa after that we could use some breaks

PHL can win this weekend and then rest their starters for the last week and add the bye to that.

The elements will come into play in PHL if DAL gets them in the divisional round and they are built to wear teams down with their run game when Hurts is healthy. Their clock eating drives is what helped their defense.

I still think it's SF, PHL and then DAL but the last two are very close.

If DAL plays PHL, that will be the first game this season with both starting QB's and in both of the previous games I question the outcome if the starting QB's had played.

Irregardless of that, it is great to see both teams doing so well and the East looking so good as well.

We barely beat them without their starting QB who is the current MVP of the league so no, is this even a question?

Philadelphia will be the favorite and the weather won’t be as good but I think this a tougher Cowboys team then in the past. The Cowboys can beat the Eagles even with Hurts. I thought Minshew looked better then Hurts when he played us earlier in the season. The 49ers are the team to worry about though.

Minshew is Cooper Rush.

Hurts is the MVP.

If you outlawed QB running, then they would be some degree closer (Hurts still far more dynamic just with his arm), but the REAL difference was the fact that we could ignore the RPO and the threat of the QB running. Once we could ignore that, then we were able to concentrate on their RBs.

They are the #1 rushing team, not because Miles Sanders, but cuz of Hurts. Sanders went to the ProBowl,...because Hurts provides him huge lanes to run thru. Without Hurts, Sanders is just an average RB.

WITH Hurts, it will be back to their norm: racking up 250 yds rushing a game...and if u play 8 in the box, they have two 1000 yd receivers and a top 3 TE to gash you over the top.

The Minshew-Eagles are NOTHING like the Hurts Eagles we will be playing next time. Subtracting the league MVP QB from a team is kind of a big thing.

Their OTackle that got hurt, MIGHT be the best OLineman in the league...so it will bear watching what his health is. He got hurt in first game too, at coincidentally the exact same time we started having some success against them.

I don’t think we will play the Eagles if we beat the NFC South winner. I don’t think Minnesota is beating the Giants in the Wildcard game.

I think the TB game is a real bad matchup for us:

Tom Brady to Godwin, Mike Evans and Julio Jones and Fournette is running like a beast, not to mention a good defense.

The Cowboys haven't won a playoff game like this on the road in 30 years

I was thinking the same thing

Which means we are going to San Fran smh
San Francisco is a beast but I think we can throw the football on them. Rewatched the 49ers vs Washington, if the Commanders had a quarterback that game would have been close.

See Philly right tackle. Things could be changing in that area.

That might. Lane Johnson is a helluva RT.

But their DL basically shut down our run game which could be crucial when playing them outdoors in Jan.

Nope, can't win, no chance. Bet all you got on a Philly blow out. Reality is the Cowboys will get smoked by Carolina or the bucs in rd 1 anyways. We know our coaches and qb choke in the playoffs.
