Can this team win a potential round 3 against Philly?

Look at what Lane Johnson means to them. So far they have scored 0 points without him and their backup was totally over matched. They have some problems going into the Saints game and the Saints are playing for a chance of getting into the playoffs. Can you tell me how the Eagles will play with their qb situation and a bad right tackle? And other players dropping like flies.
They will blow them out. You can reply to this post if they don’t LOL

It is highly unlikely that everyone is healthy for Philly. It very well could turn out that the Cowboys had better depth than them after all.
Depth and health are unrelated. The Eagles have much more depth. But yes, if they get devastated by injuries it’s possible that they could go much deeper into their bench To the point that we are better.

I think that the Cowboy depth has done just fine so far. I think that the Eagle depth at right tackle is a huge problem. Tell us about their right tackle. I'll listen. Watch their last 4 plays and tell us what happened over there.

As excited as we are all about that win yesterday, that game was largely irrelevant because we arent going to win the division and Philly will clinch everything with a win against the Saints next week.

Hurts didnt play and the defense still gave up 27 points and was getting torched through the air. Unfortunately, we dont have any reinforcements coming to help our passing defense.

The solace we can take from that game was they came into that game mostly healthy on defense, and they couldnt do a thing to stop our own passing attack.

If we are going to get to where we want to go, we have to be able to beat this team, and most likely it will be in the Divisional Round. After what you saw on that football field, do you honestly believe we can beat that team in Philly with Jalen Hurts back or will this win be the highlight of our season?
This feels like 2014 again. We lost to the eagles and looked t be the inferior team. We won gave two abd went on to be the better team.

I don’t know much about him. Yeah he didn’t look good on Saturday for sure, but I read good things about him… As a back up swing tackle.

I figured that you didn't know. He isn't good at all. He was totally over matched on the last 4 plays. They totally destroyed him on the last play.

It's possible but if hurts is back and they play in Philly that a tough road to hoe.

If they win 2 games and then play Philly, they'll roll into that game full of confidence. They can beat Philly in Philly, but a lot will depend on Moore's and Quinn's game plans, especially 1st quarter game plans.

I want to have faith in both of them, but until they actually prove themselves in the playoffs with this Cowboys team (on the ROAD), I have my doubts.

I don’t like our chances the way this defense is playing…but any given Sunday.
The offense will have to carry us from here on out. The defense will have to give us some turnovers for us to win the shootout. I like our chances of getting 2 turnovers a game.

When they beat us early in the season, we were without the services of our QB1, so I don't want to hear the Eagle's excuses that we only beat them because they were without the services of their QB1. Hopefully, if a third game happens between these two teams, they both have the services of their QB1. It would mean both teams are having playoff success and are most likely meeting in the NFCC game. To answer the question in the thread title, yes, of course, the Cowboys can win that potential matchup. I'm looking forward to it.

I doubt it. They are talented and their coaches are so much smarter. They will come up with something that takes Dallas three quarters to adjust to.
Right.
First game they neutralized Parsons.
Last game they baited Diggs.
Is it too much for our brain trust to surprise them?
Jeez all the way back to the pickle juice game:facepalm:

You mean Round 2, not Round 3. As it looks now, very strongly, Dallas would run in to them in Round 2 barring NYG or WAS upsetting the Vikings or Niners. Being a 5 seed, we would be the lowest seed i Round 2, barring an upset or 2. That means wed play the 1 seed- Philly in Round 2.

Round 3 = 3rd time playing them
