Can we all agree that Dak is at least a decent QB?

BS. He destroyed the GOAT in the playoffs. Against the 9’ers he lost his second best weapon, only had 1 legitimate WR and the offensive lineman played poorly. All this caused Dak to play poorly. This is a very naive and uninformed take.
Moving the goal post. You still defend him when he chokes a game away even when the Cowboys are at full strength.

Here come Dak's worshipper, and by golly gee, there is nobody better that Dak. I'm not going to support him and I damn sure am not going to another team, I'll just wait until his contract is finally done and they can get rid of him, and if they do and he goes somewhere else I want you to follow him, as if you won't! How embarrassing.
Get going already. Constant daily whining for years now. That's what's truly embarrassing, but you clearly don't care.

I'm not going anywhere and yes, I clearly don't care to worship something I don't believe in, but you keep lover boy in your little heart and you will be fine.

Oh, by the way, when are the insults going to start from you? It's a trait you have that is why your other little whiney post about not having the opportunity to love all over him was deleted.

Brady was a mess last season, did not look like Peyton Manning’s last year in Denver but that Brady was not the previous season Brady.

I think Dak is a serviceable QB. I just think he is consistently inconsistent and has a propensity to make mistakes at crucial points in the game. Dak needs a strong supporting cast playing well to be successful; when the RBs cannot run the ball and the WRs can’t win their match-ups…well, Dak struggles. Dak is unable to put the team on his back…unlike Mahomes, Burrow and Allen.
I think he is playing under the pressure of his contract; I am sure he hears his detractors and is trying to prove he is worth his contract. Jerry did Dak no favors by paying him like an elite QB, which he clearly is not, but that is how the FO sees him. If Jerry paid Dake $20MM per year, would we fans even be talking about him?

Kirk Cousins is a decent quarterback. Decent doesn’t cut it.

The Dak haters and Dak stans have their talking points, but what it seems to boil down too is this: Dak is an excellent regular season QB that simply fails in the playoffs. Nothing more, nothing less. It is his track record. Not winning enough in the playoff’s doesn’t mean he sucks. It means that he isn’t good enough when the stakes at highest. He is our Kirk Cousins.

Although I have supported Dak in the past, perhaps it’s time to move away from “good but not good enough.” But in reality, I see no options for this year other than stay the course and hope. I‘d like to see us draft a QB next year.

How many winning Super Bowl QBs, in the past 30 years, are not better than Dak Prescott?
The Bucs were crap. lol Like beating an 8-9 team that will now go into a complete rebuild is some major accomplishment. Just more excuses.
Dak Prescott is a decent QB. He is not a Super Bowl caliber QB. You would have to surround him with HoF caliber players on offense and at a minimum have a top-five elite defense to have a chance. In fact, it may not even matter how good the defense is or how good the other 10 players of all offense are, you are still stuck with a QB that makes bonehead decisions under pressure. For comparison, Troy Aikman did not have regular season HoF stats. He did, however, play his best football during the playoffs. He thrived under pressure. How many chances are you going to give Dak before you realize he just doesn’t have” “it”? How many players’ careers are being wasted because we don’t have a Super Bowl caliber QB. It won’t surprise me if Parsons demands a trade when he sees the **** show of a team he’s on. I’m still a fan, but I’m also very realistic. The bottom line is Dak needs everything to be perfect for him to succeed. Adversity in the regular season is not the same as during the playoffs. In fact, we are seeing the Dak has already hit his ceiling and is starting to regress.

I don’t think even his biggest detractors would deny he’s “decent”.

The issue is we’re in a league where teams with elite QBs win championships, and Dak has never been and will never be elite.

If he went on a 2012 Flacco run, or we had a stupidly good defense like the 2000 Ravens, he could win a Championship. But it’s stupid to waste time and resources trying to make that scenario come into fruition instead of looking to upgrade the QB - the most important position on the field.

What weapons did Dak have against the 49ers? Name them.
Doesn’t matter what weapons he had. Explain his first interception. Explain his second interception. Two interceptions in a playoff game is an almost guaranteed loss. Dak knows this yet still makes those critical mistakes. How many years does he need to fix his issues? He is never going to be a Super Bowl winning QB. If anything history is against him. tTere’s only one or two quarterbacks in the last few decades that are ever won a Super Bowl after their seventh year. Unfortunately, we are stuck with him for the next two years.

Nope, there are posters here who will never say anything positive about Dak.
They are locked into their negative position.
