The Dak haters and Dak stans have their talking points, but what it seems to boil down too is this: Dak is an excellent regular season QB that simply fails in the playoffs. Nothing more, nothing less. It is his track record. Not winning enough in the playoff’s doesn’t mean he sucks. It means that he isn’t good enough when the stakes at highest. He is our Kirk Cousins.
Although I have supported Dak in the past, perhaps it’s time to move away from “good but not good enough.” But in reality, I see no options for this year other than stay the course and hope. I‘d like to see us draft a QB next year.How many just “decent QBs“ have won a Super Bowl? Of those that did how many had an elite defense that was top five in the league. How many winning Super Bowl QBs, in the past 30 years, are not better than Dak Prescott?
