Can we beat Atlanta?

I agree. I live in atl and I watch all of their games. the front seven defensivly is not all that great they struggle defending the run in all of the games they had before SF. I mean fragile Freddy ran for over 100 on them. The secondary in not that much better they constantly bite on the double move by recievers and they are young and unexperianced. I feel if we start the game with the run and keep grinding it out those guys will get frustrated real quick plus it should open up more playaction passes because those guys will bite and bite hard on play action

Atlanta had the 30th ranked defense going into yesterday's games.

Do you need to post the same thought multiple times in the same thread?

 Im making a point, which is the more questions asked that's ignored equivulant to how many more questions that would just lead to one, uno, which is, Will Miles Austin be starting?

Other then Matt Ryan, Tony G and Roddy
White. everyone else on that team is overrated

There is absolutely no way we can beat Atlanta. I mean they are unstoppable how can we stop Ryan and Turner and Roddy Wh..

Please Atlanta is good team but hardly unstoppable pretty along with everyone else in the league. The fact that we will be at home after a bye and pretty much at full strength the question should be asked 'Can Atlanta beat us?'

Michael Turner 1,699 last season played a big part in Atl success and helped to take the pressure off of Ryan. Even this season in the 2 games they won Turner had a good game only loss was vs NE when Turner was held to 56 yards.

Good Point:starspin

Dallas should win against Atlanta and here is why: Keith Brooking knows their personnel, their defensive packages and the tendencies of their offense. They will be picking his brain a lot this week.

I don't see Turner running wild on us. There really hasn't been a team to do that except TB in week one and I think that was a fluky, opening game at home, charged up kind of thing. Our DBs need to play like they did against Carolina.

We're going to have to play a really good game, no doubt about it.

However... The bye week and hopefully the home crowd should be a huge help to us.

The great thing is that if we do beat a good team like that, this team could gain some confidence and really take off.

I just think he is one of the main keys for the Alt success. He is a strong running back with very good quickness. No doubt the addition of Tony Gonzalez has been a big help and the play of Roddy White has been very good but I still think it starts with the alt running game and if you can stop that I think you can slow the alt offense down.

Exactly.

I think this is a cross roads game and will take our team in one direction or the other.

If we don't beat ourselves, we can beat Atlanta.

The Bye week should give the team to get the guys healthy as well, esp F Jones and MBIII and Sensabaugh.

The real question is whether we beat ourselves?

We need to win the turnover battle (or atleast not turn the ball over ourselves), reduce the penalties, and FOCUS the entire 60 minutes.

Also, I do expect our STs to bounce back in a big way versus Atlanta.

Stuff the run and make Matt Ryan, 'Cryin Ryan' and the Cowboys will have it in the bag! ;)

Right now it looks like we can stuff almost anyone's run. What worries me is Tony Gonzalez. I hope Sensabaugh is back by then, but even if he is, Tony G will still probably give us problems.

Unfortunately, Ryan is the real deal.

If you sack Ryan first, you don't have to worry about Gonzo. ;)

In order to beat Atlanta, first, our run defense will have to again show up, big time, and try to turn their offense into a one dimensional attack. Then, T-New will need to be at his very best, and should be following Roddy White all over the field, wherever he lines up. At the same time, Ware and company will need to have something of a pass rush.

I do have confidence that our offense will be able to move the ball consistently against the Falcons, but the o-line needs to keep mental errors in the locker room and not on the field. And the sharp Romo, the one from yesterday, needs to show up, not the one from two weeks ago...

We can beat any team in this league, including ourselves...
