I'm not on board with that, their fist playoff loss was cause manboobs didn't like TO and wouldn't pass against a Seahawks team with no secondary. His draft picks were ok but no better than what they have done since he left. This is Jerry and Wade's victory, Parcells has no claim to fame here at all. Carpenter, and almost let Ware get by foe Spears, naw I don't see it.

Why Parcells was not the reason we drafted Ware, Jerry is. Parcells wanted Spears. Jerry went with the scouts opinion and took Ware. Payton was the catalyst behind bringing in Romo as well not Parcells

I've said it all along, and always will...Jerry is the best Owner AND GM in the game HANDS DOWN!!! He will eventually become a legend in the same regard as Landry. Too bad many of us seldom celebrate people like him while they're still alive, but I certainly do!

Is jerry to get credit for the horrid drafts up until Parcells ? It is strange that after Parcells arrives the drafts improved to a marked degree. If jerry was an amazing GM there should have been a steady and unblemished string of solid drafts after Jimmy left until today, but that did not occur. Jerry kept a crap dept. under lacewell until Parcells changed that with Ireland. After he left we got Ciskowski. These unsung heroes deserve the credit for correcting Jerry's horrible scouting dept.

I do give jerry credit for bringing in Parcells who cleaned things up in the scouting dept. but give jerry little credit as a GM.
