Can we please stop bashing our team!

Why do we talk about our players so bad, were getting worst than the skins fans, at least they bash maybe 1 or 2 of their players, we bash everyone except Ware and Witten. We talk bad about Romo, Austin, Crayton, RW, Flo, Hamlin, Ellis, so on and so on...I mean this is the off season, last season is over, Romo will be our QB, now support him and stop bringing him down all the time, even I have been caught up talking negative about a couple players...

TO is gone, lets support Austin, we know he's no TO and may never amount to anything, but hey lets give him a shot, never know.. I'll be happy with 3 catches a game sometimes 4 or 5, meaning he might grab 40 to 50 passes.

This thread is just to say we talk bad about our team, just look at the threads and see for urself......

Like I said even over at Extreme they have hope, we have panic and expect to win just because we are America's team, which is not gonna happen...

Boy I couldn't imagine if we had the internet when we went 1-15, Aikman and Irvin would have been blasted so hard they would have asked to be traded....... joke....

Blast away......And come with a better answer than "If you dont want to here negative comments, don't open thread or respond" that's a cop out......

I'm with you man its crazy to see the negativity thats thrown at our players so much from our on fans and its not just this board. No one is saying that everyone should drink the kool-aid and ignore the wrongs on the team but we as fans should be more hopeful and supportive of our players.

Sadly, we've turned into our team. A bunch of babies just pointing fingers trying to find someone to blame. If it wasn't for Jerry, we'd just be nothing but like a bunch of chickens with our head's cut off.

We don't need to though. We have the talent to compete in this league. Compared to our talent and potential, this league really is nothing. Certainly nothing like it used to be. This is now the day 'n age of the Cinderella Team in the NFL. And the Dallas Cowboys have a greater chance then most to accomplish this feet.

We've been 9-7 3 out of the last 4 seasons. For people to predict 8-8 isn't "bashing" our team, it's staying within the relative figures really. I think as is we're an 8-8 team. Offseason isn't over as we still have the draft and another FA or 2 can be added. So with a strong camp and a little more work on the roster we can just as easily look to be an 11-5. 5-11 is some pretty low moral though.

Sorry but most people on these boards live in reality. 08 certainly wasnt green grass and high tides. Early in the off season I thought 8-8 or worse, but have been feeling better lately. Mostly from addition by subtraction. No need to rehash.

5-11 was my vote. But after looking at that easy schedule, we could reach .500 by default.

I talk bad about players because I'm sick of looking through the sliver and blue eye glasses about our team and players.

I'm sick of constantly taking up for this franchise, this fan base, when the entire organization is nothing more than a platform for making money, disguised by the intent to bring a SB champ to Dallas.

The reason I say disguised, they yap and yap and bring in these great players trying to fool us into believing they are building a championship team, but we keep looking over the true reason for our demise, and that's the owner and his EGO.

This team will go no where until we bring in a coach that will run the show, and we also need a franchise QB, and personally I don't think that guy's on the roster.

I'm also sick of the majority of the fan-base taking up for 1 player because that player makes them feel warm and fuzzy inside, I don't give a **** about any player that doesn't bring it on Sundays.

If your expectation are low then 8-8 may be just right. This team has also gone 13-3 started off this past season well then hit some big injuries on the line lost 2 RB, a QB and a TE with busted ribs while he was still playing it clearly had an effect and I did not even mention that our top CB missed the 1st part of the season. Now I know to expect "injuries are not an excuse" fine but I think a fewer of these injuries we would have had a better showing last season. Unless you don't think there is any difference between a starter and a backup?
