its always about which team gets healthy and hot at the right time. Every year, the same. That determines the SB teams.

The Cowboys are good. Enjoy the ride.
There look to be a group of second year players about to assume yokes as strong team contributors...to include Davis, Ferguson, Tolbert, Turpin, and some really good talent that can come into play on the offensive line:

Tyler Smith, Matt Waletzko

I'm really enjoying the view and up coming two preseason games.

Nice attempt but there are those who’s sole existence here is to be negative so they get attention they sorely obviously need.
Perhaps they all can instead get together and beg Jimmy Johnson to come on back and save them from theirselves...:):starspin:

I really wanna see Waletzko again this week. We should see even more improvement. I think he, Hoffman, Farniok are keepers.

I saw Mazi take on double team after double team and for more times than not, he handled 'em like the beast that he is, and he's only going to keep getting better. They double team guys like Mazi for a reason.
What game were you watching? Or did you just dislike the Cowboys taking a DT with their 1st round draft pick so much that you just can't give the guy a break?
I watched the replay of the game and paid special attention to Mazi, and he pretty much did exactly what they drafted him to do, and did a good job of it. Players like Mazi, Parsons and Overshown are going to make our defense into a powerhouse.
Despite taking on all those double teams and handling them like a beast he logged just one tackle, and the Jags rushed for near a buck fifty.

He did not stop the run, he did not get near a QB, and he was picking himself up off the turf far too much.

I'm seeing what I thought on draft day - Mazi was a reach where he was drafted.

I could be wrong, but so far he is not impressing at all.

He should have had at least 5 tackles in that game.

Dallas Cowboys Second-Year Jumps | Defense

CB | DaRon Bland

Bland has been steady, especially in his coverage. His route running has been impressive. He was noticeably good at keeping receivers on the sidelines during the game.

LB | Damone Clark, Devin Harper

Clark has stepped into his own to become a leader for the linebacker room. He has taken the opportunity to work under Leighton Vander Esch, who has taken the time to help him grow his intelligence within the game.

Clark was flying from sideline to sideline during the game. He can be disruptive and read offensive schemes well.

Harper could step into the spot that Luke Gifford filled. Not only has he been productive when he has been in the rotation, but he has filled a much-needed void on special teams. His decision-making on the defense and special teams was spot on.
These two add strength and depth to an already strong linebacker room.

On the negativity and the hype after only ONE pre season game!!! Let's give these guys some time to fix their mistakes, and not GLOAT in their success in only 1 game. No need to get all mad, it's only the pre season, guy are going to make mistakes. The guys that played good, they may not be as good next game, we can't give up on them after praising them. Let's stay with an even head, it's a long season!!!! Please give your thoughts!!
I predict a 17-0 season with a first round playoff loss.

What game did you watch?????????????
Mazi was good in the 1st, soso in the 2nd, and not much in the 3rd and 4th. It was a good idea to play him a ton. Dude needs to get in shape, beyond any doubt.
