On the negativity and the hype after only ONE pre season game!!! Let's give these guys some time to fix their mistakes, and not GLOAT in their success in only 1 game. No need to get all mad, it's only the pre season, guy are going to make mistakes. The guys that played good, they may not be as good next game, we can't give up on them after praising them. Your scenario is the more realistic one in almost all cases. I enjoyed the game but I agree with you, I was joking in my first post.

However, if the unusual does occur and Deuce has two consecutive games of what we saw, then how could any fan not begin to ease up on those brakes?

If Deuce's productivity next week is similar to what I described, I'm not saying Canton needs to special order a slightly smaller yellow jacket. I'm just saying that my excitement would most likely overcome any urge to keep my feet on those brakes. I might let up just a little.

Not many negatives to even speak on from the 1st preseason...we can talk turnovers, 2nd team OL play vs Jags 1st team, CBs and a missed extra point. The team played a solid game, and I came away impressed with the job the Coaches have done so far. I think these young guys will improve over the next couple of weeks.

I'll try to keep an even head. However, it's been unbalanced for so long.....

Deuce might've scored on the play where that dirty player kicked/tripped him after that awesome spin move. That would've got Cowboy Nation excited.

I understand and agree with you on Dak against San Fran in the playoffs..... He was absolutely terrible in that game.

However, I disagree with the McCarthy statement. That generational QB you give the credit too has been an utter failure in the playoffs since McCarthy left and Rodgers hasn't been to a Superbowl since. On top of that McCarthy has led this team to back to back 12 win seasons and playoff berths, when was the last time that has happened in Dallas?

Rodgers has decline for sure. , but he was at his peak during the McCarthy years .
jason garrett had a 2016 to 2019 record of 13 ,9 , 10 win regular seasons . So don’t be too enamored by the 12 win streak . The NFC East is a cupcake and the cowboys still lost to GB ans jacksoville and washington. This season will be humbling .

Anyone who will be negative after and because of one preseason game needs to have their knowledge of football challenged!!! YOU HAVE NO CLIE about anything if you try to judge anything and criticize anything except for technique and effort during preseason game one!! Everyone here should laugh at you and you should have your card revoked! Just stop!!!!
