There’s no feasible way you can successfully operate having the highest paid player ever (Dak), the highest paid non QB ever (Parsons), and the highest paid WR ever (Lamb).

It’s not only insanely dumb, but incredibly detrimental to the team to sign all 3 of these guys.

That’s why Dak will be the odd man out. Lamb and Parsons haven’t been given the chance to not live up to a big contract. Dak has.

Yes, fairly easily. A Micah extension won't take effect until 2026.

But Tyler Smith and Bland, who are both going to make close to $20m, make the math more difficult.
By then guys D-Law will be off the books. If Martin retires next year they will have a dead cap on ZM, but not terrible.
If Steele doesn't bounce back he can be off the books easily.

But I agree, they can re-sign all three.

They will do what they always do. Sit out of Free agency and restructure the core year to year.

Absolutely. I'm not saying we have them, but there are cap wizards in thus league. There are teams who also push huge amounts of money into void years and continue to be aggressive in FA.

On another note your username could still work is Rico Dowdle balls out. I'm pulling for you.

Undeniably going to be tough sledding... just stating the obvious.

Honest answer is they can. Will it be difficult? Sure it always is but it really depends on the structure of the contract for each of them and also how much dead money they would have to absorb at each of those contracts if they had to jettison the player.

You can bet each contract will have at least 2 year of voids on them to spread out the actual numbers. Fairly sure that each player probably wants only 3 or 4 year contracts while Jerry will want 5 or 6 year contracts. Actual guaranteed amount of each contract will always be the sticking point not the average per year. The average per year is just a bragging point for a player, much like Green Bay saying Love got the most amount ever given to a contract at the time he signed but yet Burrows got the same money. It is all about how it is structured.

Will signing all 3 make it harder to keep other good players like Smith at LG? Sure but not impossible less Jerry tries to save a penny by drawing out everything like he did with Dak's past contract. And you better keep Will McClay drafting because it is important, more so now. Face it, we are about to go to 18 or 19 regular season games and 1 or none preseason games. Why? Check the number of good players hurt in training camp and the 1st preseason game, it has already changed the betting line of how many wins a team is likely to get. Now look at the number of injuries to players that were going to start or be valuable backup, and now lost for the season or well into the season. Each one of those changed how a team has to cope.

The salary cap next year is already projected at $281.3 million and for 2026 at $309.5 million. Each team is also becoming involved with betting/gambling money in which that will in theory bring even more money in for the owners and players. Speculation is that it could increase the cap by as much as $50 million per team, so if true, things will really change.

Yes it’s not a problem if you like Jerry’s drafts and UFL and dumpster diving FA. We like our guys and love drafting reaches and injured guys. Just don’t expect the results you want

My question is " Do they want to sign all three ?"

I still believe there will be one guy hitting the street......or possibly traded.

Personally, I don't think so. first and foremost, the Cowboys need to get CeeDee signed. As for Parsons, I would wait until the second half of the season before I would attempt to get a deal done because in the second half of last season, Parsons pretty much disappeared. If this happens again then he's not worth the $30 to 40 million he's going to demand. Prescot, Prescot, Prescot, the time has come to say goodbye. If JJ is going to let him walk, then why not start either Rush or Lance OR maybe both and inform Prescot that he'll be the No 3 QB on the depth chart. Both Prescot and his agents will go ballistic and demand a trade. It's a win-win for the Cowboys, they don't have to be hog tied by another miserable Prescot contract and they gain some extra 2025 draft capital.

Yes. But it might be hell for the rest of the team.

However, Lamb and Parsons are franchise cornerstones, and would be for any team. There are currently no scenarios where they shouldn’t be given extensions.

When they sign Lamb and Dak it frees up cap space for Parsons. They can either sign all 3 or they can trade Parsons.
