For goodness sakes Jerry made a horrible personal decision to release him. On the other side, did amari really change the complex of games for us? With #4 back there did he actually throw it to him when he was open, and was it a catchable ball??

In my opinion he's just bait because of the lack of talent they didn't have this season. The constant feeling that we could play with who we had was a JOKE! I hope this summer they take it more serious. Having weapons helps, but getting open, scheming, and good placed passes help also

It's going to get brought up because in hindsight it was a god-awful decision and chances are very high they win the 49ers game with him out there.

What especially intensified it was how bad Gallup and brown looked out there. It was basically the lamb show that's it

Yes, right after this one last point. At this point in time, wouldn't we be a lot happier if we had gotten a 2nd round pick for Cooper?

I think you answered your own question. It's not just Cooper. It's also the baffling decision to roll with what they had in-house and only drafting Tolbert who apparently can't play at all. Bringing up Cooper is the easiest way for fans to address this overall failure.

They can't as they are drawing desperately at straws now for excuses.
And it's only gonna get worst for the few remaining Dak lovers as with a 49 million hit coming next season we will not pick up any Fa in Coops Caliber range and will lose more talent as yes the NFL is a hard cap league!
An extension is simply out of the question even for the Jones boys!!!!!

Now that we enter the new off season much of that rhetoric will die down, at least from me. But i'm still pissed they gave him away for nothing. Semi hasn't stepped up at all, maybe tolberts gets his head out of his own butt and shows he can be a #4 or 5. jags can't even make the 53...such a waste.

How do we know he hasn't stepped up, what can he do with balls not coming his way or them being short etc in practice

They can't.
Just as they can't stop about TJ Watt vs. Taco, or this player vs. that player.

Why don't (the older fans) keep bringing up why they (Landry, Brandt, Schramm) selected Cosbie over Montana. Why did they selected Kevin Brooks instead of...whoever...
Because at this point it does not matter.

When recapping the season, its hard not to mention the fact we let our #1 WR go for peanuts and replaced him with a 3rd round pick who ended the season with 2 catches for 12 yards and a healthy scratch for 15 of 17 games.

Based on how long it took people to get over lesser players like Jeff Heath and Joe Looney I bet we still have another year at a minimum of hearing about Cooper.
Heath was the GOAT tho

and no we will not stop bringing up Cooper rush, hes our best backup QB and you better get used to it chump

The unfortunate part is we have to rely on the coaches. He's on the team but can't get on the field tells me there is a reason why the coaches won't use him. They tried using these guys while gallup was out and it wasn't pretty. Then they got turpin and needed a spot to goto him even though they wont use him as a receiver either. if they weren't so cheap they'd probably be cut already.

Not to mention, Amari always disappeared in away games.. and we were on the road. So, yeah, he would have been a non-factor, more than likely.

The older you are as a Cowboys fan, it seems the more bitter...
