They were awful but I guarantee you Dallas would have found another way to lose even if they got the calls. This team is full of losers.

No. Losers whine about officiating. I’m sure the 49ers fans had some complaints as well.

No excuses for this dumpster fire of a team built but a dumpster fire of a FO.
The team playing like trash and the officiating being terrible can both exist.

I’ve watched that like 10x and I still can’t find why you think it’s OPI. Not only does he not extend his arms at all but he is basically forced to go that way by the defender. What exactly is supposed to be the flag?
Contact by the DB is legal in the first 5 yards and the onus is on the WR to avoid contact with the DB in these type of routes - I am pretty sure that's how the rule is written/interpreted

There is a limit to how much contact is allowed within 5 yards but the WR is allowed to run his route and does not need to shy away from the DB in the same way the DB does not need to shy away from him. What the offensive player is not allowed to do is block the defender which is generally interpreted by either extending ones arms to block or leaning into contact to cut the defender off from running his route in a way that clearly is intentional. It is a rule that is open to interpretation. Basically hand fighting at the line is okay but running into the defender to take him out of the play is not, which was initially what was being debated but it became a moot point when the other part of the play is taken into account.

However there is no ambiguity here because with the other defender having his hands on the receiver he is being forced into the contact anyway so whatever contact is occurring cannot be a foul as he is being blocked into it. That basically is a get out of jail free card for any contact that may occur because the defender is forcing him that way.

Officiating has been really bad in the NFL and College this season.
And not in a slanted way for one team over the other. It has been bad on
both teams. At least they are being fair and unbiased in their suckage this season.

The officials in the NFL are awful every game, but Dallas sucks so hard to blame them.

This game just like the Ravens game was a blowout even though the score looked closer than it was at the end.

So you are saying there is no defender on his right with his hands on the receiver meaning the only way he can run, which he is allowed to do, is to go right into where the other defender is? I would advise you watch that play again because the hands of 27, and his positioning, are the reason it is not PI and they clearly exist. This is a textbook switch off scenario that the DBs should have been practicing for years and it is basically the only answer to press coverage.

If defending worked that way you could easily take any WR out just by putting 2 guys next to him and then he cant run a route anymore, but spoiler that doesnt work because that is not the rule.

Nobody is arguing the officiating couldn't be a whole lot better.

But the WHINERS in here go on and on and ON about the bad calls that don't go our way, and COMPLETELY ignore the bad calls we benefit from...which there were plenty in this game

It evens out...and the best team wins 99.9% of the time. OCCASIONALLY....the Refs will be the deciding factor (see the Saints playoff loss several years ago the caused DPI review to be created, or how the refs gave us the win against Detroit last year, which everyone in here laughed at and enjoyed)

But the Cowboy fans way is to whine like little babies about the 50% of bad calls that hurt them, ignore the 50% of bad calls that hurt the other team, and of course expect the refs to literally throw 30 or 40 holding penalties on the opposing team, every week.

Whine whine whine. Loser players. Loser owner. Loser, weak mentality in the fans.

They were bad on both sides, we got the worst call of the night on the PI flag they picked up, but we got some on our favor too.

One thing I noticed is they called some holds on SF they usually don't call, finally.

I think you are doing plenty of whining for everybody here.

Yeah we lost......that doesn't take away from the refs being crap.....
Excuses are for losers. Find a way to overcome it and go win the game. Ball in hand, plenty of time on the clock, go down and score. Y’all’s incompetent QB couldn’t even pick up a first down much less score.

The officiating is poor in EVERY NFL game, if they were able to watch every player properly, there would be a flag or flags on every single down.

Sometimes you get calls and sometimes you don't, I'm not saying it evens out, it definitely doesn't in fact but there is no point complaining about it.
