Most ridiculous no call I have seen in a long time
The team playing like trash and the officiating being terrible can both exist.No. Losers whine about officiating. I’m sure the 49ers fans had some complaints as well.
No excuses for this dumpster fire of a team built but a dumpster fire of a FO.
Can we talk about how awful the refs were this game
Contact by the DB is legal in the first 5 yards and the onus is on the WR to avoid contact with the DB in these type of routes - I am pretty sure that's how the rule is written/interpretedI’ve watched that like 10x and I still can’t find why you think it’s OPI. Not only does he not extend his arms at all but he is basically forced to go that way by the defender. What exactly is supposed to be the flag?
There is a limit to how much contact is allowed within 5 yards but the WR is allowed to run his route and does not need to shy away from the DB in the same way the DB does not need to shy away from him. What the offensive player is not allowed to do is block the defender which is generally interpreted by either extending ones arms to block or leaning into contact to cut the defender off from running his route in a way that clearly is intentional. It is a rule that is open to interpretation. Basically hand fighting at the line is okay but running into the defender to take him out of the play is not, which was initially what was being debated but it became a moot point when the other part of the play is taken into account.Contact by the DB is legal in the first 5 yards and the onus is on the WR to avoid contact with the DB in these type of routes - I am pretty sure that's how the rule is written/interpreted

However there is no ambiguity here because with the other defender having his hands on the receiver he is being forced into the contact anyway so whatever contact is occurring cannot be a foul as he is being blocked into it. That basically is a get out of jail free card for any contact that may occur because the defender is forcing him that way.
This game just like the Ravens game was a blowout even though the score looked closer than it was at the end.
Used to be you had to give a bubble for the catch. Now i think they share jock straps.I see kick interference all the time, and i never see them make the call.
So you are saying there is no defender on his right with his hands on the receiver meaning the only way he can run, which he is allowed to do, is to go right into where the other defender is? I would advise you watch that play again because the hands of 27, and his positioning, are the reason it is not PI and they clearly exist. This is a textbook switch off scenario that the DBs should have been practicing for years and it is basically the only answer to press coverage. He was not forced anywhere
Nobody is arguing the officiating couldn't be a whole lot better. The team playing like trash and the officiating being terrible can both exist.
I think you are doing plenty of whining for everybody here.Nobody is arguing the officiating couldn't be a whole lot better.
But the WHINERS in here go on and on and ON about the bad calls that don't go our way, and COMPLETELY ignore the bad calls we benefit from...which there were plenty in this game
It evens out...and the best team wins 99.9% of the time. OCCASIONALLY....the Refs will be the deciding factor (see the Saints playoff loss several years ago the caused DPI review to be created, or how the refs gave us the win against Detroit last year, which everyone in here laughed at and enjoyed)
But the Cowboy fans way is to whine like little babies about the 50% of bad calls that hurt them, ignore the 50% of bad calls that hurt the other team, and of course expect the refs to literally throw 30 or 40 holding penalties on the opposing team, every week.
Whine whine whine. Loser players. Loser owner. Loser, weak mentality in the fans.
If the truth hurts ur feelings, read the other posters, not meI think you are doing plenty of whining for everybody here.
Excuses are for losers. Find a way to overcome it and go win the game. Ball in hand, plenty of time on the clock, go down and score. Y’all’s incompetent QB couldn’t even pick up a first down much less score.Yeah we lost......that doesn't take away from the refs being crap.....
No, I was paying you a compliment, by you whining like that about people expressing their opinions on a public forum really turned off everybody, no more whining. Genius! If the truth hurts ur feelings, read the other posters, not me
